Let me get this straight Teale doesn’t want a gf Doesn’t want to know how Brooke feels about the situation. He thinks himself to be a God given gift to her. YES. This is exactly what I started to think, the more I saw of him. It's very worrying. Maybe Brooke is in a bad place and Teal is taking advantage of her lack of self-esteem. He just focuses on surface level things (doing _all_ the same things and how important it is that Brooke "seems nice" and smiles). He places extreme importance on himself, as some sort of savior, and generally makes everything about him. He uses God just to get himself places and seems to be using Brooke for her notoriety and the opportunity therein. He repeatedly uses words like "worthless" and keeps mentioning how much everyone else hates Brooke, even though that must be a touchy subject and is completely unnecessary. Brooke's state is definitely an ample opportunity for a manipulator, and as much as I dislike her, I do not want her or anyone else going through such abuse.

My literal pet peeve is when people misuse the well/good but in the opposite way. Like, as if someone once told them “good” was wrong in the context of “how are you doing?” and they assumed that meant you can never, ever use the word “good” to describe something. It fully makes my skin crawl. There was a girl in my HS who would say, “I’m not well at softball.” (Or whatever) like, not, “I’m not doing well at..” or “Things aren’t going so well with...” but literally “I am not well at understanding Spanish.” (Again, whatever lol). There are no words for how much it bothered me.

Her boyfriend sounds like he doesn't really know what he wants. He appears to not be a great listener. He spends an inordinate amount of time contradicting himself defending Brooke while also condemning her, all in order to save face for a relationship he doesn't seem to give his full attention to. He seems very bent on justifying his trust in their relationship to a camera more than he does to her, and it just seems odd. His behavior makes him come off as a person chasing clout. I hope that's not the case but its really hard to watch a dysfunctional relationship on screen claiming to be healthy and not problematic.

I like giving people the benefit of the doubt but my first impressions of him aren't great. He's pumping her up with preaching trying to make her feel good about herself which is being amplified since she's catching so much shade from everyone else, which is an extremely useful scenario for a manipulator. He also goes out of his way to avoid the issue and even reinforces the fact that she's a shit person multiple times as if he doesn't want such a useful scenario to end... I feel like this is the beginning of her journey toward one of those religious cult type situations where they live somewhere isolated with a bunch of wives pumping out children. Hopefully I'm just being paranoid though. She deserves a lot of shit but it'd leave a bad taste in my mouth if her bad karma only fed into another abuser getting their kicks off.

He is really bad at defending her. Yes policedogs get way tougher training but that's because they will be working in dangerous situations and need to be trained to stay on track even under attack.
