It’s interesting to watch Dr. Now’s practice as the seasons go on. In earlier seasons Dr. Now was much more flexible with giving the surgery even with little effort on the patient’s part. Now he won’t budge until there is clear evidence of hard work and dedication. It shows that with experience he has learned the faults in his practice and has adjusted. It’s pretty awesome 😎

I sympathize with the last lady as a chubby girl. I've met dudes who are only attracted to the big belly, and they can't get enough. That same guy ended up ghosting me for three weeks to do Xanax. My current boyfriend loves my body, but I told him I wanted to loose weight, he didn't say it correctly but he said he'd just have to "roll with the punches if it makes you happy" I started to feel like loosing weight wasn't an accomplishment anymore and making sure that his attraction for me says there. I guess 2 years later we kinda grew to realize he can keep his dad bod and have 6 pack abs and I'd still love him no different and he'd be the same way with me, I just can't confuse the difference between wanting to be healthy and wanting to be skinny, and now I'm exactly where I wanna be in life and weight, I'm 210 and I never go any higher than that and I never go any lower than 175, I'm short so my average weight should be 150 and below but I think that's just not me 😅

I honestly think it's stems from the point the rest of his family is skinny, I enjoy being chubby but I don't enjoy not being healthy. He's very sweet and he encourages me whatever I choose I just have some past traumas I have to work out like letting go of the past, he's not the same guy as the last so I have to give it a shot instead of being afraid and cowering away, and like one of my old time favorite songs goes "if it's meant to be, it'll be, it'll be, baby just let it be" and "ride with me, see where this thing goes" I'm just cruisin 😅😂🫶 I really do appreciate the concern though 🫶🫶🫶🫰

Penny was awful. If you watch back on the show as a whole, Dr.Now was more willing to do the surgery sooner and he still will in some cases (if it’s dire) but it looks like she was the turning point of where patients really had to prove themselves before having the procedure. She really got the surgery and then told hospital staff “no one told me I had to loose weight while I was here.” You’re literally getting weight loss surgery, of course you’re expected to loose weight!

I almost always feel really bad for them 'cause I know what it's like to live with severe chronic pain, plus I was 180lbs at my heaviest (I'm only 5'5, so I WAS technically obese then I think, or very close to it) and I felt tired and like shit all the time then, so I can't imagine how awful you must feel at 600lb+. EDIT: Just did the calculation and my BMI then was exactly 30.0 so while I was the lowest weight I could possible be and still be classed obese, yes, I was technically obese lol

A big part of the reason why patients have to do the work to lose weight before the surgery is because you still need to continue that work after surgery. All the it does is make your stomach smaller so you can still be at high risk of passing away anyway. witch Dr, Nows is obviously trying to prevent

The saddest thing is that when you don't care about life anymore, you allow bad habits and unhealthy choices to overtake you. These only make life harder, and the indavidual more miserable. A depressed person might not care to gain 700lbs when the thought of life seems so bleak, but then find themselves even more miserable when they can no longer care for themselves. It truly is a visious cycle.

James King died of multiple organs failure...not peaceful or pain free. In fact none of them died peacefully or pain free. It's sad but true. To even think that would have been a possibility is wishful thinking on your part. Pain doesn't just go away when you're dying...you just become numb from it. The only way to die peacefully and pain free is either you die suddenly in your sleep or you just die suddenly with no time for pain. Fine one minute and then drop dead.. Again sorry, but that is the reality of death. People in a coma still feel the pain... even though they are "sleeping" peacefully. You know why, because they aren't really asleep. They kind of stuck in this semi consciousness. Unless of course they are pushing a lot of anesthesia in their bodies. Which they can't legally do because it would kill the person.

Treated his family like dirty, so much so I don't think they would piss on him if he was on fire. And this was all before the show even happened. He was always like that. Hopefully he got the mental health help that he needed and is doing his best to make up for it now. But somehow I doubt that last part. Most likely his father and brother want nothing to do with him or his wife. Or maybe they talk through her only. Who knows. All three men have a lot of healing to do. But on terms of who is the worst patient he takes the crown. Worst patient and family support system...that goes to James King and Lisa. She had no ounce of emotion the entire episode...showing me and hopefully others that she didn't care. Bailey (their poor daughter) was the only one that cried for what they were doing to her father. She was the only one that cared about them feeding him. And a while back Lisa's oldest daughter came on KZbin and said that she was going to make a video about what really happened with James K and she was going to have Lisa and Bailey share their side. The video was never released. The reason why? No one wanted to hear her excuses for what happened to him. She fed that man to death and shows no remorse and all her daughter cared about was clearing her name. Production could have edited some stuff...all shows do. However it doesn't take away from the fact that before the show you were feeding him and after the show you were feeding him whatever he wants knowing that you were killing him, but you didn't stop because he would yell and scream. He was confined to a bed he couldn't hurt you unless you went over to him. Leave the room...leave the house, but whatever you do don't give into them. I'm sorry for the rant. Lisa just irks me so much. Anyway I hope you have a good rest of your day or evening.

Because Jesus paid for your sins already and will clear your case when you simply trust Him to save you. The validity of this promise is clear through the prophecies of the Bible being fulfilled throughout the years with many being fulfilled now, with one example being in the nations coming against Israel in the current day, with their sudden return to their land also being foretold.
