I was a Boston Red Sox fan living the New York metro area from the mid 80s until the early 2000s and Michael Kay's Yankee homerism was legendary. He's said things like- "Pedro Martinez isn't an Ace and should never be on an All-Star team", "Derek Jeter is the greatest shortstop in MLB history", "Roger Clemens is the type of person I'd never want on my ball club"... until Clemens became a Yankee.
