The painful thing here is that I’ve been ignored like that before. It’s a funny story, sure, but I can’t shake that feeling of empathetic stinging. You ever sit with a group of people and feel like you’re not… there? And when you get up to leave, nobody so much as bats an eye? It’s *that* pain that gets me. I’ve sadly failed to read the room dozens of times and ended up being that guy.

@@chemical_35 Similar thing happened to me. I got extremely stoned with this one girl in the woods and then we came to the party. After maybe 10 minutes i fainted and hit my head on the concrete ground and started shaking like i had a seizure. Woke up 10 seconds later and all i remember is that i was laughing my ass off and they all threw me on the sofa and i just layed there looking at the wall as it was zooming in and out and one guy was playing a guitar next to me while the rest of my friends were splashing me with water and singing to the guitar, but it sounded like some church singing and it was the weirdest, scariest and most fun experiences i ever had. Only thing is i felt zero embarresment because i knew almost everyone and plus i was just happy that i was still alive because i was greened out on some horrible weed. The weed was actually laced btw. I know a lot of people think theyr weed is laced, but in my town, and country weed is really bad so they lace it with some heavier drugs for a stronger high and i just could not handle it at all 😂

Every time I think Charlie has told his most embarrassing moment, he somehow always tops it.

Everyone mentions how brave Charlie is for sharing these stories but this is actually how he gains his power. He becomes more and more omnipotent with each bit of embarrassment

The reason why no one showed any kind of response is because they were baffled by your absolutely insane midair improvised semi front flip Charlie. You made them absolutely speechless.

This reminds me of one family dinner where I started choking but tried not to make a scene. I was turning red, trying to clear my throat or swallow a lot or do fucking anything to catch my breath. Finally, I coughed hard enough to dislodge whatever it was, spit it into my napkin and sat there gasping. I was like, "I was choking," and my whole family looked at me, then just went back to talking. Nobody gave a crap. It was embarrassing and a bit isolating.
