I stumbled upon you yesterday after picking up one of Richard Bandler’s books. I tried reading ‘Frogs to Princes’ years ago but I just couldn’t stay with it. I watched a few Bandler videos and you showed up and you had me when you referenced your experience that the writing was kinda dry. I signed up for your course. I hear a lot of myself in your stories. They say the teacher appears when the student is ready. I think I’m finally ready. Stay tuned and keep up the good work!

Whoa. That giant issue in my life and of the last years being connected to that one event when I was like 4/5? I would have never made that connection, ever. Just holding that feeling like you said and going back instantly made it pop up. It’s totally logical and obvious now I made the connection , and it’s fascination how the mind works. I wasn’t ready for this lol, I was just browsing KZbin before bed 😅 Not sure how to do the reimprinting though, just going back is really unsettling - like, I (as the grown-up me) couldn’t stand to see any other person in that situation, so being there and feeling from that standpoint is pretty daunting. Almost as if being the witness is worse than the kid. But it also feels like just knowing about it and holding it for a bit is enough maybe, like it doesn’t necessarily ‚need‘ reimprinting - it’s enough that now someone (grown up me) is there too and just aware to resolve the tension, since everything is already known and doesn’t really need more words or explanation, if that makes sense.

Hey thank you, very helpful. Just had a question. Is NLP Reimprinting technique and NLP Time Technique the same thing?
@DamonCart Жыл бұрын
There are many NLP techniques that have to do with time. Perhaps you mean timeline, which again, is an aspect of NLP that is used in many NLP techniques. Re-imprinting uses timeline as well as other aspects of NLP. Timeline alone is not a technique but a component of NLP like submodalities, for example.

Thanks for the video Damon, I definitely want to see a live demo of a re-imprinting process please. My questions are 1. How do you take the person back to the imprint? Is it via his/her timeline? What happens if the client can't pinpoint the exact moment? 2. You mention to use the resources, which resources are these? Are there specific ones for anxiety, pain, fear etc 3. You say the person has to associate into the other person who imprinted this belief, how does one do that? Is it just a thought or is there any resource for that? 4. Can we say rearranging an imprint is similar to changing a limiting belief? Thanks so much! :)
@DamonCart4 жыл бұрын
You're welcome. 1. Yes. Timeline. It's not about being perfect or exact. You just find the place where it seems to have originated. 2. It depends on the person. There are no predetermined resources. You find them when you get to the imprint. What is missing within the client when they were a child that they now have as an adult that would have made them come through the experience without trauma. 3. Just association. You can associate into other people. You do it any time you experience empathy, sympathy, or compassion. 4. Re-Imprinting will transform beliefs but it's not the only way. It's more accurately about healing an old trauma or wound. Wounds or traumas manifest as resistance and limiting beliefs.

I'd love to see a step-by-step demo of Re-Imprinting. Question is this doable alone or need someone else? Also what is a Resource?
@DamonCart4 жыл бұрын
It is possible to do it alone depending on the type of reimprinting you're doing but it's best if you have someone else walk you through it. A resource is an intangible and internal asset that you possess like persistence, humor, playfulness, courage, love, etc. However, sometimes we lose access to our resources when our focus is narrowed by anger, pride, or fear, etc. You want to be in a flow state, which is a state of having access to all of your resources, resourceful. The opposite extreme is panic, a state of resourcelessness.

How often after this process does one regress into their past trauma? Does the client continue to be paralyzed by their trauma from time to time after their reimprint session?
@DamonCart2 жыл бұрын
I don't have data on this, but for myself, once I've gone through a re-imprint, I have not regressed. For my clients it's happened a few times where we had to do it over again. Sometimes you don't re-imprint the right experience the first time so you have to go back in and find the right one.
