Hello! Former LEO here. Most cases like this the perverted bastards are not prosecuted or even charged. That's because vigilantism tends to ruin most cases like this one. The investigators were not "deputized" so all if not most evidence is thrown out of court or will not be viable. That's because of the key factor that lawyers tend to use which is "They just wanted views for the video so they exaugurated/fabricated or misinterpreted my client. Its "proven without a reasonable doubt" So from my personal experience.... less then 20%-ish of these creeps actually get charged when the investigator is a youtuber or social media fool.

If a customer is being harassed inside your store, it is a reasonable expectation for an employee, almost always management or an employee comfortable enough with the necessary training, to step in and try to diffuse the situation or at least step in to prevent a customer from being harassed by another customer or employee. Should the police have been called? This depends. You don't call the police for every unruly customer, only for the ones who are not complying with the stores demands. At that point, management should always step in and keep everyone away from the antagonizer and ensure the police are called, whether it's themselves or another employee who actually calls. So yea, the store employee did right by the customer whom he thought was being harassed and stepped in to try and diffuse the situation.

These type of shows and the vigilante's should find more worthwhile things to do then screwing around with our cases... Wild shite, glad he got help, called us in a moment of clarity and told us to get him to the hospital. Once he was there they wouldn’t let him leave, thank goodness. He’s doing awesome now and is even on the cusp of owning his own business.
