Hi just came across your channel and the interesting thing about your dream is that it reminds me of a movie that is already out called Don’t Worry Darling - now it’s not EXACTLY the same but listening to your video until the end, it has a lot of similarities to that movie. IN NO WAY am I suggesting you made this dream up, either, BECAUSE I had a VERY similar experience one year of my life when my dreams were SUPER VIVID and this was when I was practicing sobriety and celibacy my dreams were CRAZY vivid to the point where I had this dream I met the love of my life and he was this very handsome white guy and we would bike and frolic and all that in the dream ( it was soooo real to me at the time) LITERALLY, when I woke up the very next day, I was still stunned by how INTENSELY REAL the dream was, I needed to get my mind off of it and so I went into my living room and turned on Amazon Prime and saw this TV show that KEPT highly advertised so I finally turned it on and the guy in the show was the EXACT guy in my dream and I had NEVER seen him before a day in my life (other than the dream) until that very moment. And it was a love story. The show is called Upload I believe… anyways, idk if this helps but had to share 💗

Oh my gosh no wayyy I've been meaning to watch that movie!! I only know Florence Pugh and Harry Styles are in it but I know nothing abt the movie. I probably should now haha. And yes this dream happened years before that movie came out 🤭 I also had experiences of having strong connections from people in my dreams. The feelings you have in dreams can be even more intense than real life and when you wake up you feel a sense of loss because you realized they were never real. I've missed so many of my dream characters :( But you seeing that man on a tv again is so trippy!!! Oh my goodness

That’s a crazy intense dream. I think the most straightforward explanation of it is that you’re afraid of being abused and held captive by someone close to you. Not anyone specific but like. That idea of a partner or family member turning a home into your prison and turning friendly neighbors against you but still being able to charismatically apologize in a way that makes you look past it. That’s scary shit and the aesthetic of 50s Americana and gothic mansions just. fit this concept imo. Things that are pleasant and homey and synonymous with wealth on the surface but dark and confining underneath.

Omg I totally love this interpretation. I'm not sure if I've ever had fear of being abused but the "captive" part maybe... Not in a relationship, but more in my work area. Plus wanting to leave but can't because I still need the job kind of? Interesting to see this to be interpreted in many ways
