Being evasive and avoiding being hit is probably the smartest way to fight both physically and mentally. It makes sense from so many perspectives: 1- If you aren't hit, you don't get injured. 2- Your muscles, bones, and joints don't accumulate an injury upon a previous injury that hasn't healed yet. 3- Your brain doesn't accumulate concussions and you lower your chances of CTE (chronic traumatic encephalopathy). 4- You throw your opponents physically off balance, which makes them vulnerable to your counterstrikes. 5- You throw your opponents psychologically off balance, which affects their morale and their ego so that you can dominate them mentally. 6- You demonstrate that while most fighters work very hard to have physical strength, stamina, and high-quality techniques, it takes a superior intellect, control, and focus to be in a constant state of analysis-synthesis to properly "respond" to your opponent instead of just "reacting" to him/her. 7- You conserve physical energy and only use it when it matters. You don't engage in a war of attrition. 8- Last but not least, it's fun to watch. I understand that some people are put off by these techniques when some people like Saenchai or Silva occasionally mock their opponents and seem arrogant. But others like Lerdsila or Samart use these same techniques with less theatrics and focus on the desired outcome: avoid being hit and increase the chances of landing a successful counterstrike. Very good video as always!

You heard seanchai and buakaw signed to bkfc? Bare knuckle championship?. How do you think they will do?

Yup! I think they’ll do just fine if they don’t give them silly matchups

@@LawrenceKenshin Surely you're thinking of Silva at 7:55 and not the thai guy (Samart?) at 8:16? Apologies, I could be missing something here.

Excellent video, but I don't think Michael venom Page can be considered one of the most elusive fighters in MMA when he has only faced mid to low tier talent. I would think anyone amongst Dominic Cruz, Lyoto Machida, GSP, Jon Jones, Jose Aldo, Frankie Edgar or DJ is a better example for an elusive MMA fighter, Specially when you consider the talent they have faced. Personally my favorite elusive fighter in MMA is Dominic Cruz.
