@@manjeetkolte8601 100km is good for city.....? Even on marketing executive a day we r in & around city driving everyday from 150km to 240km per day. This cannot suitable for us. We r expecting 300km range bcs after our everyday commute of office run we need to go back to our home from the final destination end to home sometimes 50+km to travel. We depending only petrol bikes. If we had 300+km range ev bikes r good to save our pocket expensive more than 60% a day will help us to serve more money to family commitments. Otherwise we hv to depend only petrol bikes.

@@gosh1975 The battery tech and charging infrastructure is just not there at the moment to meet the requirements you mentioned. As I said earlier you guys are a very niche group of people than the rest of the working class who commute more than 60-70 kms per day. So for you guys to completely switch to EV right now is not possible and I completely understand that but for the rest of us given the current battery tech and price sensitive market like India we cant expect 100+ kms range under 1lac price category. Battery prices are reducing and may be in next 10 years it might suit your commute requirements as well or switching to battery swappable charging stations like there are in Taiwan might solve the mass adoptability issue.

So I expect this in short time of less than 3years to save us from petrol hike...... Correct.... ather ka foot rest bahoot ucha hai... close to 6 height waalo ke lie sitting position uncomfortable hai uski... secondly itna premium bhi nhi lagta.... or scooter mey coloured ya touch screen display mujhey suchmey nhi chahiye... itna phone deekhte hai... hur jaga bs screen deekhna bhi theek nhi... and most importantly... jitna taam jhaam badhaogey.... utna future mey maintenance and service cost badhega... India mey weather or humans dono hi thode harsh hai.... pta chala kabhi screen ya touch kharaab ho gya toh... 😂😂😂😂 screen ke saath features bhi gul ho jaengey.

This is based on the reviews that I have seen and not based on a real life experience that someone has shared, so basically a speculation. If what you are saying is true then indeed this would be a set back for Ather.

Thank you for your accurate and detailed review. However I want add some of my points here, Some pros, 1. Extremely silent and vibration free scooter 2. Head turner for unique design and look 3. Range shown in instrument cluster is close to reality 4. Rengenerative braking has good braking but it is not regenerating much energy Some cons, 5. Conforatble and smooth ride due to very well cusioned seats both for rider and pillion 6. Of course ecomnomical to drive but require hugh investment 7. Maintenance free 1. Not able to start motor/scooter in first attempt..need to try many times, even evident from your video too. Switches Drive and Reverse engages after many failed attempt. 2. Chetak app is trash. No more commments 2. Paint quality is worst, got many scratches after 2 weeks 3. Extremely impossible to read instrument cluster in daylight 4. DRL light will blind oncoming pedestrian, it is so much brighter that main bulb high or low beam is not at required 5. Utility hook placement is very low to floor board, also more utility hook coupd have been provided in the front 6. It is tad heavy due to battery and metal frame body 7 Very low warning sounds, could have been more audible 8. Fast charging should be there, also they are now charging extra 10k for home charger unit although they provide remote charger 9. Makes audible exhust fan noise when cooling fan kicks in when battery charging started or near to complete 10. Charging 3k extra for steel guard, grip cover and scooter cover

@@gujarmahesh21 for full charge it cost me 3 units which cost different in MH according to unit consumptions slabs. For me , electricity consumption for own house is below 100units so calculation is 3.47rs per unit, & avg monthly unit consumption for charging is 30units which equals 105rs+tax for 1000kms. You can make it rough calculation as 10rs per 100km or 1rs per 10km. Highly economical 👌

The first hike was Rs.5000/- and thereafter a whooping hike of Rs.27000/- in March 2021.”Bajaj” is exploiting the trust of Indian customers who are having great faith in this brand. the manufacturer has little sentiments for their trusted customer and encashing every opportunity to swallow the subsidy amount and hard earned money of the buyers. Why not to boycott this product??

Just had a very bad experience with KTM showroom just now, while I was purchasing the vehicle I was informed that charger comes under warranty, now my charger is not working, they are denying saying that warranty for charger comes only if charging home unit is installed only, They had not mentioned it while purchasing, neither was it mentioned in owners manual at that time, why do silly things like this now...? Does this was explained for any others during purchase..? I am thinking to drop in to consumer court, what's ur opinion guy's

If I take to office charging point won't be there. Companies can develop mini petrol electricity genrator which can charge when parked.it can run silently when parked . But this can be used for people who travel long distance and need more miles on way back. 70 percent can charge at home remaining times small gernator would help.
