So we're your #1 FANS in Manhattan/NYC. You changed our lives last year when we followed your lead and spent 3 months in Sarande, Tirana and Kotor. Now, once again, we are following in your footsteps and planning 3 months in Puglia, Bosnia and North Macedonia. A bit trepidatious, to tell you the truth. If YOU were to base yourself in Bosnia for a month, would you choose Sarajevo --OR-- Mostar (and take side-trips accordingly.) All the best to you both. PS -- wishing you were on Patreon but I see the thanks button up above and I'm about to find out what that's all about. And lastly, thinking as a person in casting, I have to say you deserve such a wider audience. Again, all the best. 👏

Thanks for the video. I was there after The Dayton Accords were signed. Spent 7 months at Zetra Stadium (Sarajevo) while I was in the US Army. Happy it's all built up again. Back then we didn't walk on any grassy or dirt areas due to mines left over. This brings back so many memories. Thanks for the video.

Mostar is my home town and yes it is one of the most beautiful places to visit. Howeve, you two stay and filmed only one part of the city Old Town. That is significant, but you didn’t even cross the street Boulevard to go to the west part of the city snd to see and shaw what there exists. Believe me you missed a lot and this is not Mostar City, you show only middle of it and your title should be Mostar Old City instead.

I was wondering about you're both wearing the same kind of sunglasses ? Well I want to suggest that if you're in France go to a town called Vaurnet. See if you can get a discount for sunglasses if you buy them from the factory. Vaurnet THE BEST sunglasses in the world. You won't be squinting cuz you can look right at the sun. Yep they are amazing.
@BrianandCarrie2 жыл бұрын
We will have to check them out!!! We each have Ray-Bans but different Maui Jims and we don't get a discount on either. 🙁 Thank you for the tip and Happy New Year!!🍻
@brenlh64842 жыл бұрын
@@BrianandCarrie I've never had Ray Bans but I had Maui Jim's when I was living in Hawaii but still nothing comes close especially not Oakley they scratch to easily. The issue I have nowadays is that Vaurnet is pretty expensive. I had a pair in 1986 but someone kiped them. Back then they were bout $110. Now the good ones are $650.00. There are some way more expensive but they don't have the patented tech Vaurnet has. Vaurnet is made of glass.

First! Funny, my adult son was talking about this area and the history and the war surrounding this area yesterday. Heard there is some tension there due to the current Serbian elections. We were planning on visiting in mid Nov. Is it safe to do so in this climate? Thank you!
@BrianandCarrie2 жыл бұрын
We would say it is safe. We spent 5 days in Belgrade and were treated with respect and people were welcoming. We keep politics out of our travels; however, we had some very negative comments being Americans from the Belgrade video. Overall Bosnia and Herzegovina are very friendly.
@bobkabob75402 жыл бұрын
@@BrianandCarrie thank you for your response, I appreciate the promptness and honesty. I understand and agree politics should be set aside esp for travel vlogs but as normal tourists one has to just keep their guard up. I get the impression Bosnians are friendly and extremely welcoming but it the inflammatory rhetoric from its Serbian neighbor that seems to be causing the paranoia and mistrust. No tourist wants to get stuck in a country incase any skirmishes or cross border issues occur. Thats why I was asking and wondering. Thank you once again!
