A couple of things they left out of the Meyer story: The employee Meyer was having an affair with with a woman named Ann Lynn Lowe. Meyer called her and told her his boat had burned and his family was missing. She and other employees of his company met him at the dock when he came in on the skiff. Lowe had washed the clothes Meyer's had worn that day (which is why they were in the laundry) despite being told not to by the police, so she was charged with evidence tampering, tried, and sentenced to a short jail term. Meyer and Lowe married shortly after they were both indicted. Meyer's grave marker reads: "PRECEDED IN DEATH BY WIFE DIANNA LYNN MEYER & DAUGHTER CHRISTINE MEYER BOATING ACCIDENT JUNE 1996 SURVIVED BY 2ND WIFE ANN LYNN MEYER BELOVED HUSBAND FATHER AND FRIEND." Sad that it isn't against the law to lie on a grave inscription.

Having lived in AK, hate the portrayal overall of all characters. It was a terrible tragedy, and those who were most legally involved were Bob Meyer and his mistress Ann Lowe. We were all concerned about Diana and daughter.. Ann Lowe went to prison, but Bob Meyer died from becoming a quad from a high speed car wreck, then "disappearing" off his dock. Ann...how did that happen?
