I got platinum trophy for 2018 and ragnarok and I must say, both are a masterpiece, but ragnarok wins it for me, music, story etc! But man, both top 5 for me ever!!

excellent playthrough! It really is an amazing story. Transforming Kratos to someone who can't share his feelings with anyone due to his tragic past to an actual father figure to a boy who only really wanted a father who cared about him.

Still can't get enough of the ending of this game. It's just so emotional but I love every minute of it. That ending with Thor is still so chilling and epic. I can't wait for you to play Ragnarok. I also hope after that you'll play the older games too. Thanks for such an amazing epic finale!

I disagree. Part 1 is basically perfect aside from repetitive bosses and enemies due to time restraints during development. Part 2 while still a 9/10, has some pacing issues.

@@adnansakhi4593 Up to 5 years of development is pretty standard and it would have been perfectly fine with waiting until 2026 for a third game. There was more they could have done with the Norse saga. We are going to have to wait at least that for a next game anyway.

You seemed a bit confused about the mistletoe arrow, so let me explain. You may have figured it out in editing but just in case. Sindri gave Atreus mistletoe arrows after Kratos and Atreus saved him from the dragon. During the fight with the dragon Atreus's arrow quiver strap was broken slightly. In order to fix the strap Kratos used the tip of one of the mistletoe arrows, tying it into the strap to hold it together. We then met Mimir, cut off his head and returned to Freya's house so she could reanimate it. When Freya noticed the mistletoe arrows that Atreus had she demanded that he give them to her so she could destroy them and made Atreus swear that he would destroy anymore that he found. She knew that the mistletoe could break her spell that she put on Baldur, and he would be vulnerable to death once again. But she didn't notice that there was an arrow tip in the strap of Atreus's quiver. When Baldur punched Atreus, he accidentally punched the arrow tip and drove it through his hand. Thus, allowing the spell to be broken and Baldur vulnerable to death.

To your knowledge, Atreus : Atreus was a spartan general which was in GOW 1 , In Ghost Of Sparta , he gave Kratos A spear & A Shield. In GOW 2 , He died with the hands of kratos (in darkness) before kraken fight. Paintings: 1st fight with bauldur was portrait a futuristic buggle to call WORLD SERPENT. Last Painting , Kratos was dying in the arms of atreus & thats how World Serpent was born from ATRUES coming out from his mouth. Thats why JORMUNGANDR (world serpant) understands & listening to LOKI. He was a son of Loki. Also ,, you must watch RAISING KRATOS on KZbin . Which will warm your heart about this game. Game making documentry.

Just to give your comment section a break from people thirsting for Ragnarok, awesome playthrough! Congrats on beating the game, sorry you had to deal with people rushing you to finish it and nice intuition on countering Baldur's defences! Watching this, it just hit me that since Freya threw out Atreus' mistletoe arrows, she gave him her own arrows as replacements. Meaning that every arrow that Atreus shot into Baldur was one of Freya's. That's a little tragic to think about. Also only just noticed Atreus' eyes glow at 28:19 when he calls for the serpent.
