She fell into a fit of crippling depression because she knew she was the only middle aged woman in her social group that hadn’t slept with Jeremy. Her depression got so bad she attempted suicide by jumping off a bridge which didn’t kill her but did cause a spinal cord injury that resulted in partial paralysis. Through a lot of physical therapy and psychological support she’s made progress both in her motor skills and her mental state. However, it’s good she keeps up her social interaction and learning.

@@coena9377 ... But what about Jeremy's mom?
@coena93774 жыл бұрын
Just some Baby Yoda in the Forest Jeremy’s mom was the first middle aged woman in her social group to sleep with Jeremy, that’s the whole reason Jeremy has a sexual fixation for middle aged women and also the reason he hates his mother. He actually deliberately deprived Linda of the validation that she’d have gotten from having sex with him in the hopes she’d successfully commit suicide as an elaborate plan to get back at his mom for molesting him as a young teen. It’s a very complicated and abusive family dynamic.

This one goes out to the dads. I became a dad late in life and I look kind of like the dad in this sketch from the outside, but there are good men out there who fly under the radar and who I model myself on. They're unspectacular, they fly under the radar and hate drawing attention to themselves, but when they're needed, they're always, infallibly there and they'll support their kids and offer a very occasional word of wisdom out of the blue. And I KNOW I'm over-analysing a three minute skit, but they both love their kids in different ways. They're still together, for a start, the dad turns up on his wife's game show because she wants him to. While she's demonstrative, he's not, but he's still there for them.
