I was going to do this test myself with this engine. I'm glad you're getting into it and I get a chance to learn about it before getting to deep into it and finding out it's a dead end. I was going to just get a manual swap and skip all the a-t headaches. Even though a 4L60 can be built to hold some power chasing the bugs is a major deterrent... Good luck, I'll be watching for sure🤙

Awesome work, hope you can get it going. You can also contact Whipple as they had a supercharger for the 02-03 4200 and made it work in an envoy. Maybe they know how to hack the MAP sensor. The blower was removed after a short run, maybe due to trans or rear axle issues. Good luck!

If you pigtailed the throttle body harness u might have the ecus battle for the TB initial position for stock vs whatever you want to input from the standalone. For instance you try to move the TB with the standalone but the stock sees say 1-2 degrees movement and it does the opposite movement which counteracts eht standalone. Nice project there. 💪🏻 Keep it up.

Apparently the crank is good to something like 1500hp. There's this one car that had the engine swapped in like 2009, made a claimed 1500hp. And there was this one tweet about another car, claiming it made 1300hp. The poster couldn't clarify if it has a custom crank (I doubt it honestly but who knows) as they just posted the car. They were not the builders. Glad this engine is starting to get recognition.

do you maybe have the polarity for the throttle body motor backwards? also with the crank sensor wires you can normally splice a VR crank signal between 2 ecus without dramas. is the stock ecu still seeing both crank wires?

The ecm switches polarity for the throttle body so it can force throttle closure. I believe the ecu masters is capable of that. The inverse is the ground circuit for it and the motor is supplied 2-12v signals and directs 12 volts one way with a ground to open and then the other way for closure. I'd have to look at a gm wiring diagram to verify that's the way its wired factory

You could make a second crank position sensor and just put a 24 minus one wheel on the crank behind the crank pulley and grab a sensor at the junkyard that way you aren't splitting the signal. I had one of those SUV's and I'm pretty sure that computer uses that a RPM signal for everything
