I remind myself how many times I have almost died for just a belief. It brings forth so much rage and fear (Anxiety); as I've gotten older, something my mother told me started to make more and more sense. She said "Being angry is ok, if you weren't angry I'd be worried hell I'm worried anyway but, I trust that once you learn how to use and where to direct that anger you will be unstoppable." This year I turned 25 and my brain just opened up; I thought that I had to find a way to get rid of or ways to cope with depression but, now it feels like my depression gives me power outside of my own and protects my emotions from those who seek to diminish my light. I think depression and anxiety are natural survival instincts of the mind that we have to understand before we can control and before it can benefit us. Thank you for your comment and I have faith in people like you.
