@@DrMurdercock I also saw a video where a kid brought a J5 Tele for him to sign, and he had modified it to include a battery powered light. John was so blown away and impressed - he just thought it was the coolest thing. But the amount of respect he showed this kid's guitar was crazy. I have seen other musicians toss stuff down and scribble quick on it. John laid that guitar down so gently on a table and carefully tried to figure out the best place to sign it that would show up - but the way he laid it down - I've seen people handle newborn babies with less care! 🤣 A true musician's musician. I understand time & place, but when they have a New Movie coming out….totally different ppl. Couldn’t be nicer. Slash is not only the best for a long time, but he’s so chilled out, relaxed, and talk to his fans. This guy seems to have the same disposition as Slash. John5 deserves his own Mt Rushmore with him, Jake.E.Lee, Joe Satriani and Steve Vai. I'll say that Randy Rhoads does deserve to be in the same accolades and on the Mt Rushmore with Eddie Van Halen as both of them changed the way guitarist saw and interpreted music in the early 80s.
@keithwessel35317 ай бұрын
Slash is better than all them, Except Randy & EVH. He’s in that category. But I see your tag & im gonna say you’re a Jake fan 😂. Just a guess. Satriani & Vai, Nah. Hendrix,Randy, Slash, EVH. that’s a Mt Rushmore!!! IMO. I respect your opinion. A great guitarist is 1 who can explode like Slash in Guns, then be successful solo & in other bands. Slash has been Great w/Guns, Velvet Revolver, Slash/Myles Kennedy, Slash’ Snake pit. To have platinum records w/4 different bands….i don’t think another guitarist has done that. Gotta check. This dude I gotta listen to.
