Thanks, man. Glad you like the video. That coastal ride was something else, eh? It was the perfect way to end that day 👊

Great video thank you very well done as always. The ride a long the coast just beutiful. Watch it twice. Thanks again cheers to ya.

I was reviewing the video to see what I got from that ride and was really bummed that I missed a huge waterfall off the side of one of those rock faces. We had to back track through this way and we only spotted it at the last second, but man it was epic. The wind blowing the water into a mist was unreal. So beautiful.

Great video, Glad things are going trouble free for the most part

Thanks. By this part in the trip some of the gear started to recover. Luckily at this point the bikes were doing really good too. But in the next camp I find a pretty concerning issue.

Really like the camp site setup. 👍🏽 Thx fir sharing !

You're welcome. I usually don't get video of the camp stuff, so I figured I'd try to get a bit of that in this trip.

Thanks as always for the shout out. The lighthouse I camped at was in Cap-Chat. Amazing spot. The one you passed was La Martre where a flock of barn swallows attacked my drone! Almost every campground I have ever been to was like a hamster maze to find my campsite. 😂 We'll see how Newfoundland's provincial park system is for campsites this summer as they're spaced out almost perfectly to end each day and I wanted to check out the parks anyway. Loving the series. Cheers!

And thank you for the inside scoop on this trip. I knew you were at a Lighthouse one night but I couldn't quite remember which one. Newfoundland sounds incredible. I've wanted to go for so many years.

really liked the campsite tour and the narrative at the table. great idea getting the frozen wings! thx.

I'm glad you liked it!! I always try to get more camp stuff on these videos. The chicken wings were a fun meal to cook. A nice treat after a day on the bikes. Cheers buddy.

Next time you pass by you have to make the trail that climb at the top of Mont-Saint-Pierre, really worth the detour !
@IslandADV8 ай бұрын
Yes, definitely! I've heard the climb itself is super fun. I can only imagine the view.

Another great video! I couldn't help but laugh at the comments about the hill climb. You know me well, I would have definitely seriously considered any climb and if I thought there was a chance without ruining the ride from a broken machine, I would have given it a shot! That campsite was pretty sweet, it had a National Park type of feeling. Thanks for posting! Can't wait to see what next year will bring us in terms of riding.

Next ride season? Mayhem 3, Freddy Beach Bugaloo, lol. But you would have loved that little dual track. Further up the mountain, there were some awesome rock ledges like the road down to Martin Head. Coincidently, that's when we decided to turn back lol. Cheers, buddy!

@@IslandADV Mayhem for sure and if vacations align, maybe something even bigger 😉

Amazing coastal route! You know I’m a sucker for those. Looks like the TQT is a nice balance of trail and tarmac, I’m thinking I’ll have to check it out sometime. Great campsite, nicely tucked away, and the food!! Nice work man, wings and a brew, pretty sweet. Cheers gents, another great vid!

Thanks buddy. I'm so glad the Wing's worked out. I'm definitely doing that again. But you're right that coastal ride was so cool. Two extremes side by side. Mountains and ocean.

Chicken wings and beer...all that would be needed would be a football game on the phone.....Great coverage and ride. We did the blacktop part a few years back only the other way. If you get a minit, shoot me an e-mail about your tent from CTC that you use and info on a hammock that you suggest. Thanks guys.
@IslandADV11 ай бұрын
Will do man. I'll send you some links for the gear. And yeah I think we ended up doing the TQT in reverse on this trip. I think most people start in Amqui and move north then down along the eastern coast. But etiher way it's amazing.

Another great video. I am definitely planning a Gaspesie trip of my own.
@IslandADV11 ай бұрын
Thanks! I highly recommend this trip, simply for how easy it is on the head with respect to trail navigation. You just get the app, follow the line, and enjoy the ride.
@colpitts35011 ай бұрын
@@IslandADV Right! I am forever getting turned around on those off road trails. Looked like it's pretty easy to navigate. Also I have gotten very lost on PEI on some of those farm roads. Confusing shit.

Ha, your guest is from my neck of the woods. Now, anytime I see a crf 250, I'm going to wonder if it's him.
@IslandADV11 ай бұрын
That's cool. Yes, be on the lookout. He was out this way on a longer adventure as well. We talked to the fella in the shack about trails to ride. I hope he found some good trails on his adventure.

I love the series!! Which bike do you guys like the most, the Klr of the DR?
@IslandADV11 ай бұрын
Thanks! One compliments the other. The KLR packs the bulk of the gear and powers through. The DR is nimble on the rocks and never fails in the water. This is our fourth year doing these adventures, and we've come to realize the two are an even match and dynamic duo for sure. But DR moves quicker than the KLR. The KLR rides easier for longer runs. When it comes choosing one over the other, ask if you'd rather have a Boar or a Hound.

Absolutely love this series. I'm interested in this chicken. What's it called? Fusi?
@IslandADV7 ай бұрын
Oh it's amazing. I believe they changed the name to rotisserie fusee. Which is just "rocket rotisserie" in English. It's a chain in Quebec City, and the flavour is unreal.
