An Iphone is slightly faster.. but €180 vs €700 (compared the lowest prices, but first filtered out the stores I don't trust. Otherwise it would be €175 vs €688). The Iphone is almost 4 times as expensive. here on brazil an iphone 6 cost around 4.000 (~1560 dollars) reais while the new moto g is around 700 reais (~275 dollars) i would NEVER pay for all that to an iphone that doesn nothing more than any other phone that cost 5 times less, i could buy almost 6 moto g's with the same money lol, i have an moto g 16gb with an 32gb card and im very happy with it, i dont need to use it like if it was an baby, if i broke it i buy another, its something i cant do with the iphone haha

yeahh the moto g 2014 ran pretty fast when was "new". a year ago when it was new it gave a tough fight to my brothers iphone 6 and now it sucks big time. his iphone 6 still runs faster always(he has not reset his phone in a year) and my moto g cant even stand in front of his iphone. I hope you got the difference. -_- Android sucks after a while like literally.

I have the moto g 2nd gen and I can say it runs pretty smooth on android 5.0. I've compared it to plenty of iPhone 6's and I have to say it stands up pretty well. I guess it depends on the user.

+pranav pandey Also, if your phone now runs slower its not because of your phone only, the speed of the phone chages because of the apps you install and the things you do to your phone, a rom like cyanogenmod 12.1 should fix your problems, deleting junk files and the cache speeds up phones.

I will have to think on it because I can customize the Moto X2 to my liking; the one I customized will have the very same color scheme that Gundam Exia has along with the inscription "Gundam Exia on the back." But moving on, I told my father two days ago to purchase the Moto G for my step mother as a Christmas present because that will be cheaper than signing another contract. Looking at the specs, I imagined the phone to be similar in speed to my GS3 after viewing the Geekbench (300ish single core, 1100ish multicore) results, but TouchWiz really does a number on my GS3 X.x This phone will certainly be better than the shitty android phone she was given by AT&T after her IPhone 4S randomly broke on her nearly 1 year ago. I know she wanted another IPhone, but renewing the contract would cost $960 dollars over a 2 year period plus the price of the IPhone on just her line vs just $360 over 2 years plus $179 on her line. She is having a bad taste of android because of the phone she has now, but this might make her love it.

beauty of iphones without any lag my ass. My mum got an iphone 4 in february, we need to replace it because even after a full factory reset the phone app refuses to work properly (in the same location in multiple tests and even upon exchanging the sim cards of the moto and iphone the iphone failed 3 out of 5 calls, whereas the moto failed in 0), the mic has stopped functioning properly and its slow as hell. My moto g is miles ahead and given that I paid half the price of the iphone just comes to show that apple only cares about turning profits constantly from rich idiots and doesnt give a shit about other consumers.

Moto G performance is obviously much better than iphone 6 in terms of performance to value ratio. the price difference is almost 4 times between the two. and moto g is fast enough and u won't notice the difference between it and iphone in terms of speed for day to day use. Actualmente poseo los dos equipos, estoy de acuerdo en que al abrir aplicaciones sencillas, reproducir vídeos, ver fotos en HD, navegar por internet, es decir actividades básicas, estén muy a la par incluso me decepciono la súper pantalla retina del iPhone 6 ya que el moto g 2014 entrega imágenes tan brillantes llenas de saturación y colores como el iPhone 6 :\ Sin embargo al realizar otro tipo de actividades como la multitarea u otros procesos mas pesados, es en donde me doy cuenta del poder del procesador A8 del iPhone ya que en ningún momento he experimentado ningún tipo de cuelgues o congelamiento, cosa que por desgracia en el moto g 2014 me sucede muy a menudo. Very nice comparison.. The bottom line is that people need not spend a fortune on a phone when moto g can do the job very very well. On a different topic, you can compare speeds of both by putting ilauncher (version 3.1.4) on moto g. Then you'll see that moto g outperforms iPhone 6. Ilauncher is just amazing... Try it.

In the play store, you just get the download of the earlier version, which still supported your version on android. I'm an ex-iPhone user by the way.

The Nexus 4 did everything the iPhone 6 can do now and that came out in 2012 at a good price of $300.... The Moto G 2nd Gen is a great phone, Motorola could get away selling it for $250 if they wanted to but I think it is great that they are only selling it for $180. If you haven't noticed it is the quality of the phone that counts, not the price tag.
