Beware the battery does not come out that easy. It's stuck on with a strong adhesive and if you bend it too much it can catch on fire. This video is misleading.

I used a bit of isopropanol on both edges when removing the battery, and it came out rather easily; I used a wide plastic tool to pull it out.

This is true. I'm not going to say it's misleading but for me the batter did catch fire. The adhesive is tough and you have to be very careful because it easily catches fire

That's for sure. This guy is using a phone that has already been disassembled,no glue nothing. I think he should make us aware of this fact so we don't think we are doing something wrong being we are having a hard time in areas that he make look easy.

I only had it for 2 DAYS"!! a coworker shattered my screen , tried to file a insurance claim. They said I didn't have insurance. I fought for a month . I didn't win. Dec21st. My wife passed away. I have to use this old galaxy S3 that keeps crashing on me. Because I have to pay for this burial of $31.000. I'm sorry this pandemic virus has me thinking to much . I always think theres got to be somebody to help someone. There's a will there's a way. Thank you for making the videos when I get extra money I'm going to try and fix it myself.

I did that too. Can replace charging port separately. I think it happened from using wrong charger. I got it to charge by slightly grinding the cable tip so it went in more. The right way would be replace charging port.
