Great bike, lovely sound. I had a Mkl, they ran open bellmouths as stock. I then bought a Mklll in 1984. Was initially disappointed until I removed the stock airbox for K&N filters and altered the jetting. Made all the difference. Nice video, wish I still had a Le Mans.

Nice sound quality. Very little wind noise. What’s your recording setup? Also, I rode a LM III for a few years and the sound immediately took me back. Especially the clunky gearbox. Mine clunked less when shifted briskly at higher revs, but nothing I did ( including reshimming, new clutch plates, and various types of gear oil) ever got rid of the dreaded clunk. That’s the main reason I sold it. I replaced it with a 1990 Lemans 1000. You should ride one of them. Anyway, thanks for the video. I watched the whole thing.

Thank you for your kind comments. I use an old GoPro and keep an external microphone that suppresses wind noise in the back pocket of my waist bag. In that position, you can better record the exhaust sound.
