Finally, a video of "On This Day" series focusing on Biaggi!

Biaggi great ruler of the 250cc class with the historic Aprilia and Honda brands.I would like to remember Ralf Waldmann who left us a few years ago but was one of his biggest rivals along with Harada and Capirossi.
@kilerscn3 жыл бұрын
I always Remember Waldman as being really strong, he just had one problem, Biaggi! Biaggi had the same problem in in the top class, with Rossi.

Got hammered by Doohan first and then by Rossi. Barely put up a challenge.

@@mercamia Hate to bring it to you. But nope he won 1997 250cc title with Honda. And made the move to 500cc/MotoGP and finished runner-up in 1998 to Doohan with the same team and Honda.

@@chamindujanith6337 I absolutely 1000% agree with you Mick Doohan beat him and the great Valentino Rossi humiliated him But that doesn’t mean to say that Biaggi isn’t a great rider does it now
@chamindujanith63373 жыл бұрын
@@StephenLMW Yeah for sure. Biaggi is always there. And you could say staying fast for a long time is better than winning a title and then being invincible for the rest of your career. But even lesser riders based on their career resume like Sete Gibernau had higher peaks and was more of a threat to Rossi and put up more of a challenge.

Did Honda really ban Max from riding their bikes after he criticized the team?
@kilerscn3 жыл бұрын
It was more he started saying stuff that Doohan didn't like and Doohan had a lot of sway with Honda at the time. He wasn't banned as such but he wanted a factory ride, the only way he could get that was with Yamaha. He actually went back to a Honda satellite team in 2003 and Became a factory rider in 2005. However I think it was too late at that point, had he been a factory rider in 2000 / 2001 he may have won.
