nothings gunna happen unless its a turbo motorcycle. if it had a turbo that could do damage to the bearings in the turbo from being so hot and having no oil flow.. unless it was a water cooled turbo then it would be fine. otherwise no ignition problems would happen. straight up thats the only way the cop is going to get him to stop.

Yeah, that's theft, and since it's vehicle keys it might be considered theft of a vehicle. In my state you can lawfully use any force necessary to stop an officer from committing a felony (not saying stealing keys is a felony).

Agree with the cop. It does my head in to see so many people riding bikes without the right clothing. If you can afford a decent bike, then splash out for decent helmet, gloves and full leathers or similar. I can’t ride anymore, but when I did I always wore the full kit, and the kit gets better each year. If I were still riding, I would add neck and back protection too. I type all this from my wheelchair.
