Just reviewing this video as I had to modify another. My suggestion that the guide rollers were not available as a separate part was incorrect. They are, they are just listed with the cambox casting rather than the tappets themselves. My apologies for any confusion.

Thanks for posting this Peter. Picked up my kit from Agostinis on Thurs, can't wait to strip my top-end now! Just out of curiosity, do you know what the Bearings are in the Rollers? Plain Bushes, or Needle Rollers?

They’d have to be needle rollers as the component isn’t pressure fed.

Hi Peter, I have a 1400 California. Can you tell me if I have to loosen the timing to remove the cam shaft tower.

If you're asking do you have to unhook the top sprocket to remove the cambox from the head the answer is yes. If you'd like to see how that's done I've got another video there where I remove the left hand cambox from a Griso. The procedure is identical to the Cali 14 as, apart from the extra spark plug, the engines are almost identical.
