This looks fantastic. When you paint just do the blue and red scheme as on stock parts and then in place of white just keep exposed carbon fiber it will look amazing.

bro u should look into a frame stand lift jack for your bike, i used to have it for my 999 and you can free spin the bike and totally utilize your space and maximize everything along with lifting the bike off the ground so u can keep the tires off the ground and treat your baby best you can!! check it out its an awesome lift setup, and dont have to get front and rear stands and front or rear wheel spools so u can have a lift point. -P3T3R

Just as a tip for the Philips screws - don't use that big of a head on the screw driver. On ~7.50 you can see you are killing the screw by rounding its head. Standard size is PH2. Keep up the good work, it's coming along perrrrfect! Regards from Sweden!

Hi Motonosiity. You covered a piece that I'm having trouble with. Your favorite piece, the side tank fairing with the original OEM insert: I can't seem to pry off the original insert from the original fairing due to the metal clips holding it in place. How did you remove this? You fast forwarded through the part I was most interested in. I assume they should just pop off, but I'm having to bend the plastic so much I'm afraid of cracking it. How did you get it off? Many thanks.

I would like to see some refreshed outlooks on getting into motorcycle riding now that you have experience & safety in concerns heading a family. Many like myself are on the fence of owning bikes & would like some insight on mindset when riding which has the stigma of being hazardous
@JaylenBester5 жыл бұрын
From personal experience I’ve been riding since i was 21 and I’m 33 now. Ive had some close calls over the years but I’ve had worse close calls in my truck which isn’t as fast or nimble. For a beginner i would say its a great sport and nothing else can compare to ride of a bike. For reference I have a 2010 bmw s1000rr but my first bike was a 95 honda super hawk. Take a motorcycle class first to see if you even like it but trust me you will be hooked. Ive also been married for 10 years and my kids are 14 and 8. I don’t ride often but when i do it still brings a smile to my face with a flick of the wrist. It does come with its share of dangers as with anything you do in life does. Just remember its not the vehicle its more about the mind of the person riding it. You can dive a bike really slow and a car really fast. Just my two cents. But if you need any more advice on bikes or the sport in general don’t hesitate to hit me up bro.
@ChadFeldheimer5 жыл бұрын
Riding is exactly as dangerous as you make it. Yes people can turn in front of you but if you're riding appropriate for the conditions you can usually predict and/or avoid accidents. Motorcycle crash statistic are super inflated because a lot of motorbike riders kill themselves - don't expect that a car will see you when you're lane splitting at 100+ mph. Riding is amazing and it teaches you more about the road than you'll ever learn from driving. It's so worth just doing a course and getting your permit - no one says you have to commit to riding full time 👍

Hey Moto wouldn’t weighing the carbon pieces with the OEM panel and clips installed give you the actual weight savings since that’s what’s going back on the bike? If you weigh them without the panel + clips it’s not how much weight you’re saving it’s the difference in the full OEM assembly vs the unassembled carbon piece. I can’t wait to see the whole bike in carbon it’s going to be gorgeous 😍
