Great to see you covering the CCM stand, for some reason there was very little mention or coverage of CCM's Project X online so pleased to see you doing a special feature on the bike, it look fantastic and if the price isn't to "salty" then it will more than likely prove to be CCM's top seller.

I think it'll be around £14k.... so competitive vs a 'big adventure bike' (some of them at least) but a long way from the new Chinese offerings. I hope it does well, though I suppose I'd always worry that I'd break something expensive and hard to replace if I dropped it on a trail...

great looking bikes!

They are. Simple, but beautifully made, and not silly prices. They aren't cheap of course, but whenever I take mine out for a ride people ask me about it.

Any idea if it will be a light bike?
@PeakMotorcycles3 сағат бұрын
I'm certain it will. The standard Spitfire Cafe Racer is 145Kg dry, the Bobber is 135kg dry.... I expect this will be a little more with the bodywork and the larger fuel tank, but perhaps lighter wheels to offset that a little. I'd still expect it to be under 160kg wet, and with the stage 1 ECU it should push out 70hp (Mine does!) which is T7 sort of power but for 20-25% less weight. I guess we'll find out late spring next year.

The unnamed bike looks good, could be called the wolf or coyote??

It'll be great to see the final version with the tank and paint job. I can't wait.

project x is a 100% FUGLY bike - they should have remade the gp450 . Their other bikes are drop dead gorgeous.... Not sure how set on the X design they are, i hope they change its mid riff/tank area

The problem with the GP450 is that the engines are no longer available. Developing a new frame to fit the 600 from the Spitfires (an older unit itself...) doesn't really make sense. If anything, a new frame that uses a CCM take on the Zongsheng 450 single or even the CFMoto 450MT Twin might be a better future choice, but new frames and engine tech is a big undertaking. CCM are a small volume builder who will work with what they have. I'm sure that in the final colours and spec it will look special. We shall see.
