That MT10 suits you. It was nice to meet you both. Great job with your video, nice audio. Those Honda Hornet 1000s look great value. Think the SP model is about 5 bhp up on the standard

I commented on someone else's video from there that I will never have another new bike. I don't keep them long enough and lose too much money. There's some daft prices these days for bikes, no wonder the biking world is suffering at the moment. I believe that GSA with all the bells and whistles can go over £30k, mental. To me, it doesn't matter what you have it specc'd up with, it's still damn ugly. Me thinks your mrs is gonna have a bigger bike not too far in the future.😁😁 Thanks for taking us around with you both.
@tomstcКүн бұрын
Prices are crazy, 30k is sill for the GSA with everything on it, but people will still buy it on finance so BMW don't care! Are companies selling bikes or finance these days? Sarah is well on the cards for a bigger bike at some point, but the MT07 still has her smiling!

SP Hornet has got more (+5bhp) power than the standard model Tom, good video, shame to have missed you. Did you try the pale blue Yam Tenere Tom, it was more jacked up? I was there on the Sunday fella. Good event, JB
@tomstcКүн бұрын
@78Outlaw yeah realised my mistake now, oh well what's 5bhp! I do really like them though! I wonder if they will sell alot more SPs as only 1k more? No the Yamaha stand was a bit crazy to be fair!

Just bought a 23 plate Icon blue MT07. But being a short arse, am tippy tip toes, with low seat. But it’s loaded with Yamaha accessories. It’s a lovely bike. More enjoyable on the open road compared to my lovely Rebel 500. I really dislike the key placement! The new one looks the dogs! Enjoyed your video thanks. Wee Mark😊

@weemark67 thanks for the comment The MT-07 is a great bike, my wife (featured) has a 2016 If you are on insta check out her account @twinklemoto The key placement is a major gripe of hers, and where the screen is

It seems to me that there were more you tubers at the show than people genuinely interested in buying a new bike!! I used to go every year for 20 odd years, this will be the third in a row that i have swerved and shan't be going again. The new bikes have just lost their soul. The manufacturers pander to the namby pambies with the rider modes and 6 axis IMU cornering ABS etc etc on 38 bhp bikes!! No thank you. There are enough old proper bikes out there for me to choose from.
@tomstcКүн бұрын
@MrTench8 it was mega busy with plenty of legitimate customers. I was a legitimate customer, the new T700 kinda got me thinking. I do get what you are saying with rider modes etc, my MT-01 is raw as it comes.

I only see people step on the left peddle and step up and over with content creators outside of the US. I guess I comment because it looks funny to me. If a person is getting on the back , then it's needed .

Lovely bikes on show went yesterday, what I will say is that the industry will die if radical reform isn't employed, with dealers closing down quicker than pubs and prices for these machines going through the roof the young future riders can't afford to buy them, yesterday 90% of the punters were 55 and above male, looking at bikes they can afford but wouldn't enjoy riding anymore most look at sit up style bikes, I don't know what the answer is but something needs to be done to get the young back on board, ooh forgot to mention insurance for the young is also ridiculous

Riding clutchless bikes is for people that will create problems later. Just lazy riding and then everyone can do it and accidents will increase and more people injured and motorcycles do become dangerous , as people that should not ride , will get the easy button of motorcycles. Look at cars today, they almost drive themself and the drivers are the worst you have ever seen. Because they have false belief that the car knows best and people can use the phone and other things while they drive. No gear shifting we can put a cup holder on the left and let's go ahead and put a Screen in front of you and play a KZbin while you ride. Sad they can't put a pipe ashtray on it so I could enjoy a pipe in the morning while my bike rides itself. 😂

I am a physical therapist, and have rehabbed many that would benefit from the technology. I know two content creators that both have amputee of left upper extremity that the no clutch is necessary. Then know two other creators that have the lower left extremity amputated. I was almost one to need a side car or a can-am 3 wheeler as I was injured 2 years ago that effected the strength in my left leg. So agree with you on bikes needing alterations for riders with disabilities. 😊

I’m sorry guys, but it’s like an amateurish, silly family video and rather too lightweight in content and product knowledge/awareness. Far too much of “Do I look good?” and “I like the colour”. 🤦♂️
@tomstcКүн бұрын
Appreciate that, however there is plenty of time for full on specs and features in videos in the future when I get my hands on the bikes. This was more look at the bikes, see what they look like for two very different people. Thanks for watching and the comment
