I heard the big question mark about this bike. When my son and I saw this bike, you could just see and feel that the bike had been through wars! Awesome to hear the the other side of the family's story. Can't you see him banging gears in a 427 or 454 corvette smoking people! The bike had its own aura Iin person, tried and true. Now we know,SO DID THE MAN! Matt, give this guy his due. Nobody was able to catch the cutting edge of the factory rides. EXCEPT HIM!! Ride on sir, RIP

what a great story , that could of just as easily been forgotten by the " winds - of - time " !! how many family's have gone in after the " old - timer " dies and had a 40 yard dumpster dropped in the driveway and cleans out the whole house , never looking at nothin !!! all they are interested in is how quick they can " flip " the property for a " quick buck " !! THANKS TO ONE FAMILY, WE ARE ABLE TO LOOK BACK IN TIME , TO THE DAYS THAT BUILT THESE MOTORCYCLE COMPANYS AND THE " MEN " THAT DID IT !! GREAT STORY !!

I've been a friend of Andy for years. I have seen that trophy many times in his man cave. But the trophy was only the beginning he also took great pride and care of this amazing documentation. It's such a cool story, and to know that it will now be told to so many enthusiasts makes the story that much better! Thanks Andy Marsha and Matt !!!!!

Enjoyed the interview with Andrew and his mother. I saw sidecar racing at Mid-Ohio, probably the last sidecar racing 45 years ago. A vague historical memory. Looking forward to taking a better look at the racing platform on my next trip to Maggie. Enjoyed talking with your dad my first 2 visits. KEEP the history going. Many historical memories are stored at your museum. 👍👍🏍🏍🏍🙋‍♂️

Hello Matt and all the great people at Wheels Through Time. I really find history in general to be fascinating but I found this to be extra special. It has everything I could hope for. It has forgotten history which is being restored to its rightful place in history and preserved for all time, rewritten history and family history. Also, it revolves around motorcycles and Cliff Palmer who is a true American Motorcycle Hero. I can't help but think the story of Cliff Palmer would make a great movie and/or documentary. Thank you for this video. Cheers!

I first fell in love with motorcycles in the early 60s when I went to the Michigan state fair I couldn't get enough of The wall of death. Then came Evil Knievel, now I'm semi retired and I have found a renewed interest in cycle history. So as I see things you are the place to see and learn more about cycle racing history. If I have to take a bus I'll be there this year.

Hi Matt; What a wonderful situation and for you to call these folks and share! Actually a very emotion stirring video. I am hope to come see Wheels Through Time as I too love these machines. October of 1972 my Dad got me a Honda SL70 and now that I am 60, there have been very few years in my life that I didn't have a motorcycle to enjoy the outdoors with from the dirt trails in the forests to street bikes commuting to work or going on trips. Thank you to you, your Dad (and his passion that you carry on as you have it, too), and the many contributors to the museum. Best Regards, James

History is like a puzzle. You start out with just a handful of pieces and hopefully over time you find more pieces or pieces find you. This is great, especially when you get to talk to folks that are connected to this history. I can feel you emotion as you go through all that documentation. I also feel somewhat distantly connected when at minute 22:25 you flip through the Wisconsin State Fair National Championship Aug. 10, 1924 program and No. 11 on the list is Dynomite Scott from Bath, NY riding an Indian. That's my home town but +20 years before my family moved to that area. I now want to know more about that rider. Thank you for sharing all this incredible motorcycle history and content!

Absolutely amazing collection, the odds of all of these things, the bike with sidecar and actual records of its history are almost mind boggling. Understandably the chances of this happening are much better since the availability of the internet has become so widespread with countless different platforms but still a phenomenal occurrence that everything clicked to bring Matt together with Cliffs family along with the fact that all of these documents and clippings were kept together obviously cared for with the best of their abilities. My hats off to you Matt Walksler for putting on this program and for continuing to educate anyone in the world who has interest in the motorcycle history and history of the mechanical age in general along with all of the great folks from Wheels thru Time. You all create a spectacular knowledge base for all of us to gain from.

..Loved this presentation/interview & a flashback to an era that is well and truly gone...the photos themselves are a technical achievment in themselves...cameras back then were really only for portraiture & landscape.....it is a great mind that can compose & record 'action sports' of the time, as shutter speeds were slow(around 1/300),per example some of the photos are of blurriness but not so bad that you are unable to see the incredible racing occurring. Those photos are a goldmine in themselves & need to be archived to suit the enviroment or they will be lost forever.Your passion is second to none.🏆
