Great bikes, I fell in love with these bikes back in the 60s, I saw the wall of death and made my grandpa take me to the races, he told me about his uncle that raced Harley's way back in Pennsylvania.

I'd like too hear the story about how he " ...made sure he won his last race when he was 80." Did he talk to all the racers before the race and convince them to sandbag, allowing him to win the race ? I have a feeling that would be a great story all in its self.

Dale is the museum as much as the bikes are. Hope that a permanent memorial goes up to honor Dale . Just like the bikes, they dont build us like they used to. Sorry for the families loss. Dale's legacy will live on through these bikes, the museum, this channel, and his family. May he ride in peace until you meet again.

Anyone interested in old bikes simply must attend an AMCA meet. You'll see bikes you've only seen in movies or books. You'll see motorcycle brands you never knew existed. The AMCA meet in Oley, PA is my birthday/Xmas/New Years day and everything else rolled into one. It's the first days off I schedule at work every year. And the WTT trailer is usually there too. A few years ago, there were about 6-8 Crockers there. When have you ever seen one Crocker let alone multiples?!?!

Flat track racing always has heavy track maintenance requirements. Racing v-twins on circuit tracks has sight line issues and doesn’t feel as American. Sons of Speed is awesome, but obviously could never be a professional series. What I’d like to see is a combination of them all. I’d like to see a professional, American, modern v-twin series, on paved round tracks, to be today’s modern board track racing.
