I got an 06 C50 and had preventive maintenance done including the driveshaft. From what I've heard Suzuki hardly puts any lube on the spline. So I take it in every season to let a pro make sure it gets anything it needs. Love that bike.

excellent video I wish I would have seen it before my drive shaft spun in my final drive gear I could have saved myself from being stranded if I would have seen this

Thanks for your videos on your Suzuki Boulevard. I love watching and getting the confidence to do my own work on my 08 M50. I brought my bike a year ago, and I've noticed that when I start my bike with the clutch depressed and in neutral, the bike jerks forward. Would you have any ideas or suggestions? Why does that? I hope I so I can attempt to make the repair myself. Keep up the great videos.

How do you remove the nut on the coupler so the coupler can be replaced? Is it lefty loosey or righty loosey to remove the nut. Some gear nuts have opposite threads which are just the nature of the way the gears turn. Also, I performed maintenance on my S83 at 11K and 35K, remove / replace seal, spring and circlip along with moly65% and at 60K I was looking to perform the ritual again and it was rusted up (not quite as bad as this) but I had to order a new drive shaft and coupler. I don't get how it got so bad in 25K miles. I don't ride in the rain and wash the bike maybe once a year. I thought moly65 would last longer than 25K miles....guess I was wrong. Also, how much moly should I apply, I'm thinking a bucket of it this next time? Thanks

How do we call that worn part the gear thing

I know it's been awhile but can someone tell me what the bolt above the axle bolt is for... I've looked at my diagrams but it doesn't list this particular bolt
@dhagle98582 жыл бұрын
Btw I mean the bolt above on the left side.

What did you use to clean the drive shaft area?And how did you clean it?
@MotorcycleEnhancements8 ай бұрын
We used a degreaser and brake parts cleaner. We also coated the inner shaft tube with Fluid Film to avoid further rust.

Wish I knew how you removed the oil seal. I watched your video to know... lol. Back to frustration I guess

Right, the part I’m stuck on gets skipped haha

@@jasonbednarski7812 3 days ago since you posted. I'm guessing you figured it out. If not, think of the seal more like a bottle cap, and you can pry the edge bit by bit in a circle then it will pop right off. Thats what I did anyways

Hi there, have you ever come across something or a sound like in the clutch is not connected? kzbin.info/www/bejne/oaPWk5Rmg56Dmc0 I have checked all the way to the U-joint and it's all fine. The clutch is worn but it does not seem like a clutch issue.
