Great bike. Not a fan of the styling, the older generations of GSXR look much better.

both sushiki's Ive had had crank problems. the first one the crank bent (but it was a cruiser) the 2nd 1 the crank bearing disintegrated (the 1100). With 2 Italian twins since then the only problem Ive had has been the wait and wait and wait for parts to come in the mail. Yes those Suzies were over a decade ago but still rocked my faith in the brand.

That`s some bad luck you had. I had my K8 from day one it was introduced. I`ve been using it as a daily ride, trashed it in the circuit on the weekends... have 30K miles on it - just regular servicing - not one single problem. No matter if you want it for sunset cruising, or racing - it can tick all the boxes. And it is so incredibly smooth and comfy for an SS bike - ergonomics are just perfect. One I did over 1000 miles in 3 days on twisties in Italian Dolomites - no pain - just perfection :)

The Suzuki 750 was designed when the Superbike class was 750cc not 1K. For many years the 750 was the Superbike going against bigger V twins. Until they changed the class and changed to 1000cc

Dude I feel ya. My fz6r rides like that too! You sit right behind the tank do ur arms are low and it looks and feels awkward. So I adjusted the seat back and the handlebars forward a lil

You're correct. 600/750 cc are sports bikes, not superbikes. 1000+ plus are sbk. I've been lucky to of owned 600's/a 750 gixxer & litres. 1000cc class is way more powerful than the 600/750 class. Not so much the top end. It's the torque that seperates them. The guy even sais it here @ 2:47 A 600cc rider would shit himself when first switching over. 750's are ideal for casual sport bike riders. Very easy to ride fast & have fun on. The 1000cc class requires delicate input/a little more thought

OK, thanks now it makes perfect sense I definitely understand what you are saying now, to tell the truth I didn't know that the late model 750s were on par with 1000s as far as tech goes. I ride an older 750 maybe I can upgrade sometime in the future and get to experience what all the hype is about.

I'm riding a CBR600F4...this would be a step forward for "race track ergos."
yes it does matter. the designation for superbike is 1000cc. I know from experience that a 750 middleweight is an awesome contender in the hands of a skilled rider but, a 1000 is just that much more powerful. Not one to pour over minor details so enjoy your season and ride safe... if you ride.

why dont they provide this colour in every country?

they refer to the 750 as a superbike, isnt it still a middle weight or a supersport?
@skater1515311 жыл бұрын
Actually you're all wrong. If you want to get technical a "SuperBike" is a 1000cc bike that has loads of modifications. We're talking swingarm, fully built motor (can include pistons etc etc), forks, shocks etc. They still refer to 1000cc bikes without heavy mods in racing as superstock or supersport. See WSBK 1000cc SuperStock class.

does it matter?

For some people here that keep talking about the 750 is not a superbike but if u listen closely one of the commentators say "it bears the torque of a superbike" not horsepower. I owned an 954rr and I've ridden R1, CBR1000RR and S1000R. The 750 will never compare to those beauties but is better in track than those litter bikes.

Why is this guy hanging his knee out, on the street, in jeans. I don't get it.

I ride an 81 zuki GS1100E... the fastest production superbike from 80-81... 600s are faster now in almost every way... a 750 goin 170mph or a busa goin 170mph, thats TT speeds it just doesnt make a difference to me. and racebike today in my book is a superbike haha
@TheGabesnell12 жыл бұрын
its still just a name is my point... who cares about vocabulary... just go ride. you know if you are on a 750 and you know if you are on a 1000.... so if someone calls your bike a superbike but its a 999cc of some sort.... its just a name... with technology, the 750 might as well be a superbike

really, 'mericans have their own version of "English" language, don't they? no "ly" on the end of their adverbs sounds lazy
