So I currently have a Machete is there a difference in performance compared to the Katana??

After all the hype on the Katana prop I spent the 50 bucks on one for my old 82 lb Tour 24 V. It is advertised to fit all previous Tour motors and add a higher level of performance. 1st, it did not fit properly. The groove for the shear pin is too deep causing the prop hub to rub on the motor housing. Luckily I was able to make a modification to this area to make it fit properly. I'm also using a TH Marine Equalizer nut. Then I was stoked to try it out. Well, my Lowrance GPS (in calm water), shows me that I've lost 2-3 tenths mph over the 2 blade ninja. (sounds like lower rpm's), Very disappointing! The only benefit I can see to keeping and using it is it's shear size and durability. Over the next few trips out I will try to evaluate it's efficency as related to battery life. Based on what I've seen so far I'm not holding my breath and I would prefer to be compensated by Motorguide.

I would also like to know how it compares to the three blade prop that came with the Xi3?
