I saw them on this tour at the Hammersmith Odeon, London.... I used to suffer from bad migraines, & I felt one coming on lining up to get in. I was on the floor puking during the support act (Saxon, maybe?), but as soon as the boys came on, the power of the opening chord must have dislodged something in my head, suddenly I was healed & i've never had a migraine since. Praise the Lemmy! I regret never having had the chance to thank him personally.

I remember lying on the floor puking listening to Saxon. I didn’t have a migraine, that’s the effect Saxon had on me. Great you were cured. Saw Motörhead at Brixton academy with three other train driver mates. We all had tinnitus for days. Would’ve failed a medical

I find it funny that Metallica was inspired by Mötorhead and they hated glam metal because they do it for the groupies, but Lemmy started playing music because of girls
@kevinryd6 жыл бұрын
I'm sure Metallica have had their fair share of groupies as well. And i'm sure that if the Metallica boys had been born in fucking rainy Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire after the war, they would also have wanted to start playing guitar and get some nice ladies to light up the mood. And Lemmy was at least honest about it. Hail the king!

awocado renegade Metallica are nothing but a sellout band, they became the thing we hate, commercial shit. Too bust hunting elk in the mountains, or filming their next boring fuck up. Yea you're never disappointed! Some people are born with a lucky horseshoe up their ass-I'm NOT one of those. If you look at the glass as 'half empty' you realize that you need to do something and be prepared. 'An optimist is someone that tells you to cheer up because things are going their way.'
