My first 48cc, bone stock did 37 "with the wind at my back" after break in. The best you can hope for is a reliable 30mph... The sweet spot on the sprocket is a 40 tooth. Middle of the road between low end and top end. Stick with the stock NT carb. Put the needle clip to second notch down. REMOVE THE AIR FILER...yes entirely. no filter at all. 4oz of 2 stroke oil to one gallon of gas. Get an NGK B6HS Spark plug. Ride it like you stole it. It's addictive, I've built 6 of them.

Remove baffle, and remover air filter, and ngk spark plug. You also may not have much power because it's still breaking in

If the hard to start pull the spark plug out and put a couple drops of gasoline down the cylinder It'll fire it up and then it'll run fine.

Mine had issues starting and running before I took the air filter . I'm gonna test how it does at high speeds and then possibly get a high flow cone air filter if everything seems fine

Do a plug chop if you didn't already,also make sure you're running 50:1 gas mix,I I mine running and broken in,and it feels almost like extreme powerband, I just have troubles with it heating up really quick

32 to 1 or 40 to 1 will actually work better and not burn up the motor so fast. Also between 32 and 40 to 1 will keep the motor much cooler. 50 to 1 will just foul out your plug too fast.

Well im here because I fell a couple days ago... my skin sample on concretely was complete,😊 im ok. Anyways are there any safe braking options other than the reverse peddling method. At high speeds its dangerous to hit the brake like that and have the back tire slide away from you. 🙁 once the tire slide 🤕 I knew i was fucked. Lol

That things not slow you just gotta break it in and it would have way more power and get a better spark plug and it would give it more power

Others have told me that it will be faster after break in! Thanks for watching and subscribe!
@007tallguy5 ай бұрын
@Drive315 yes, after the break-in period, you'll have slightly less oil in your mixture and it should run better, more pep and less smoke. That 16:1 mixture is important for getting in the right places and for lubing the crank/piston/rings, etc until the rough edges get smoothed out ( broken in and seated). As for the comments saying 40 and 50 to 1, don't listen to that shit, use what the specs for that engine calls for or you'll have problems! 😳 And the dogs...... let's just say I wouldn't be tolerating that kind of an issue. The spray works great!! 👍😉

The bearings are trash I think you should put some oil in it to lubricate it and maybe loosen the screw for the bearing a little bit. I bought a after market tensionner that you hook up to the engine and it have a spring to have a constant tension and its way better. Feel free to ask me questions

@mr.equity1120 Жыл бұрын
@@eliaslopez489 Well I can talk about my experience since I do own an electric bike and I prefer gas. I’m a heavy guy 210 pounds 6’1 and I live in a hilly area. The amount of money I’d have to invest in batteries just to have a reliable range for my commuting is absurd beyond thousands of dollars. Whereas I can just throw a $200 80cc kit on my old bike and it works about the same and it does about 80 miles per gallon which is astronomically better than any e bike that can give you max 40 miles range (on flat surface with relatively average weight about 170 pounds) and I can just add extra fuel tanks or upgrade my engine quite easily and cheaper if needed. So for me is all about that range.
