@@porschetech72901 I got the Porsche, it was more expensive and needed more maintenance but as you said, its an appreciating classic. The gearbox and clutch behaviour on the Mazda Miata/MX5 is far better fyi.

@@nboy7 im sure youve researched options for addressing any shortcomings you find... in my case it always boils down to my being too poor therefore i end up learning to drive around those quirks which in turn i believe in some small way must help us be better drivers in the long run.... faster? who cares always someone faster.... better.... thus safer

Always reminded me of the Lotus Elan, especially the early ones. They were like a time machine when they were first introduced; but likening it to the feel of a TR or MG, no way.

Der Porsche ist in meinen Augen das beste Auto. Nicht so viel Elektrik scheiß sondern nur dass was man braucht. Noch eine reine Fahrmaschine ohne Helferlein! BEIM Porsche spricht man noch von Auto fahren.

I have a 944. My friend has a Miata. We often drive each others cars, co i can absolutely confirm everyting in this video. Although in our case the Miata has better tyres, as there are no reasonable 225/50/r15 in hereby market. Still the Miata is more readable and forgiving at the limit, while the 944 does not forgive so easily. You have to wrestle it a bit more :-)
