I find this Motormouth channel is consistently fair and unbiased in its reviews... it's also nice when we witness the difference of opinion between Zack & Andrea. Criticism is always constructive and there are frequent references to 3rd party sources like J.D. Power and Consumer Reports. Prospective car buyers should exercise due diligence with comprehensive research from a number of objective automotive resources (which excludes anything on TikTok).

Well there's no unbiased person under the sun. Yes they're mostly honest and fair, but sometimes you can see the bias - like with the Miata - overhyping that vehicle tbh. I did the PECLA driving experience a few years ago. It was, in a word, unbelievable. My assigned car was a red 911 Targa. My "class" had about 6 people. We did a bunch of drills to see how well we could recover the car in different extreme situations (tight turns, purposely throwing the back end around, wet pavement). My brother-in-law and I ended up on the track portion with me chasing him and the instructor with me yelling at me to brake later in the turns to catch him, but I was scared out of my mind! He really pushed me to push the car - and we learned that my self-preservation mode kicked before what the 911 could handle. It. Was. Awesome.

I did an amazing BMW driving school in Austria where there was a special circuit with turntables, flooded sections and lots of hilly corners. If you made a mistake, your car went off into that special gravel that stops you right quick, yessirree. They could shut the ABS off, so you could see what happens when you just slam on the brakes and hold on until the car stops spinning. It was about the most fun I ever had in a single day (although later in the trip, four laps of the Nurburgring was pretty special). It sure was hard to come back to Toronto after touring southern Germany where just driving on normal roads was so much fun.

Porches Macan and BMW X3 are my 2 favorite, but I went with X3 for more cargo space. We could fit 4 full size luggage and 2 carry-on in the X3 with no problem. For the sedan I agree with Andrea. Reliability is important, but it’s not my only concern. I would pick the Giulia. If it’s just simply going point A to point B, I’d just get a Corolla or Civic. But I also want something that I enjoy every time I get into the vehicle. I want to enjoy the styling, the driving dynamics, the performance, and comfort, not just a boring machine. Stelvio is my next one. I’m leaning more and more towards that one. Alfa’s unreliability is way overrated. I love your shows and watch most of them. I think you guys are fair and honest. Please keep doing what you’re doing. We watch reviews and do our own research when time comes for a new vehicle, or just enjoy watching different vehicles. Paid reviews: if you ever want to see what a truly not paid review is, that would be what Regular Car Reviews does.
