He sounds like a good commentator, and I ain't surprised to encounter an aussie even in Nascar, given how much Australians like their stock car racing. But that said, Australian is my least favourite English accent so I can't really get into the spirit with an aussie commentator. But that's just me. I otherwise really like Australians and their culture in general, just not the accent. But having also said that, are the rest of the commentators exciting and captivating instead? @UNHchabo3 ай бұрын
Good question. There's *technically* no conflict for the remaining two races of the season, they just might not be easy weekends for Diff to do both. The Indy 6 Hour is the day after the Bristol Night Race, and then Petit Le Mans happens the day before the Roval race. So in both weekends he'd only have like 14 hours of time off between them.

I don't understand why the regular season points championship wasn't focused on more. NBC barely mentioning it. Cutting away to show positions of cut off cars that weren't going to even matter. Like, you have an extremely close season long points battle and you keep flipping over to show the 23 and the 17 float between the top 5 and the top 20. Meanwhile, actual drama and your game seven moment is happening right there...organically. And coverage is focusing all of their sound and fury on a cut off line that just sort of fizzled into nothing. Gibbs riding around on the tail of the lead lap (all he needed to do). Treux pretty well locked in after an early accident. And a lukewarm back and forth between the 23 and 17 that turned out to be for nothing. NBC, pretending it is interesting does not make it interesting. Could they not see that Larson had narrowed the gap to around eight points and was about seven positions faster? That it was going to be real close? I literally had to Google who had won the regular season points title before NBC even mentioned it. Why are we using this ridiculous points format? It's like this every year. They always have all this build up to the last race and the cut off races...and they are always hot garbage. And meanwhile the answer to everything is right in front of their faces. You have a 1 point championship race.
@bugglebegger1433 ай бұрын

You almost "HAVE" to be in a Hendrick Chevy to make the slightest gains. And the way you have to change your driving style for that car just killed my man's star power along with a few others. "Maybe" just maybe RCR has finally hit on something. I sure hope so for Kyle's sake. I sure wouldn't mind him taking Truex's place to wind down his career after doing so much for Toyota.
