Both Ford and GM have way more economy cars to level out their fleet numbers. Also look at the emissions numbers on the sticker of any Hemi powered vehicle. It rates at a 0. The Ford and V8 rate better than that. The Hemi is just a dirty design, and they need to design a cleaner V8 if they want to avoid paying those penalties. They could also diversify their vehicle line up with economy vehicles like the used to. Remember the Dodge Neon and other small vehicles that they used to sell? They shot themselves in the foot by only offering Hemi V8 and Pentastar V6 engines.
