I've been in the market looing for something thats fun to drive and good for a family of 5. I have looked at everything. I decided to take a look at the 2012 supercew raptor just for the hell of it. @#$@#$ what a vehicle. Its not often at my age a vehicle gets my bloood flowing by wow this thing can be summed up in one word awesome. The stupid smile this thing puts on your face is priceless. Well done ford and the SVT team.

@xcrunnersrock Actually, my neighbor picked up a Raptor and noticed we had similar tires, turned out to be the exact same model. BFG 315/70R/17, which are not 35"s. Plus, I can save you a lot of time if you think you need to actually take tires off to read their sizes. It tells you the size right on the sides of the things! Amazing right?

@wiccanmoonman 1. Why would you have VANS for (unless you run a company)? 2. Vans of those sort cannot offroad in places where a Raptor could potentially get stuck (just look at the profile).

Great truck. Needs a selectable fuel eco setting. 11 mpg? Also need dealers to stop mark ups. Its an off road truck with no winch...needs to be standard equipment. Bfg 35s are not true 35s more like 33s. Stick bigger tires on it and it needs to be 2 inches higher

judging by whats in your driveway i feel so bad for you, really though i do. I live in an area where the roads twist and are extremely tight an ive got a truck bigger than the raptor and i have 0 problems, i think you guys should maybe learn how to drive?

The tires are not 35", I have the same exact tires on my truck, they are more like 33.5"

@Deathragous hey that's okay, but you'll probably want a prius instead of a raptor, more your speed.

There won't be a diesel version. The Raptor is designed to be a high speed baja truck, it has to use gasoline for all that high end torque.

Woah, did you just pull that one?? It's not a question of if we can drive. Every year I sit on youtube laughing my ass off of americans crashing all over the place as soon as you get the first grain of snow. We have snow half the year, and don't crash any more just because of 3 or 4 feet of snow. Why would we drive a big car when we dont need it? We had the Suburban, which is the biggest car you can get before it becomes a lorry by norwegian rules, but we never filled it. So why? GC is plenty.
