Love this beast!! Best looking truck with great versatility. Not a vehicle to rely on for 365 daily commuting but as a winter vehicle and have fun with animal during the rest of the year as well as a work vehicle capable of handling many projects, it cannot be beaten!! I own 3 SVT products and they all give me quality engineering to do what they do best, the Raptor is one bad ass truck that works well. Drive it legally for commuting and the gas mileage is actually ok remembering this is a truck. As a winter vehicle just like the other FORD 4 X 4's I've owned I couldn't be more pleased, where I live you want ground clearance in a vehicle..shovel? Who needs a stinkin' shovel!!

Something very nice about all these new fords: Predictable. The steering and throttle and braking and driving dynamics, all very nice working together.

Gotta agree that the raptor is a fun vehicle. Though not much of a work vehicle, for that I'd rather go to my trusty Unimog. But then that is a different beast altogether, and much more serious. I just can't imagine trying to drift a Unimog, it's just NOT what it does. You drive the Raptor with a silly grin plastered on your face. You pull the raptor out of the bog with the Unimog. And then you go have fun in the Raptor again.

@desertfox1792 well as i said you don't get what the point of it, its not meant to be a trophy truck like the raptor. is meant to be able to take on "all terrains" like rock crawling with its electronic disconnect sway arms and the fox shocks so it can take on the bumpy terrains and yes similar to the raptor it can jump. but while the raptor has a 8000 pound towing capacity the all terrain has over 15000. then the interior, exterior and whole truck has a better more usable set up.

@GripzNGatz Your argument is as objective as saying that all Foreign cars are made to last. Look further on the roads, you´ll see a lot of American cars which are more than 3 years old running well. I´m not saying American cars are better than Japanese or European ones, but they have been improving over the last years.

I put 40 inch Buckshots on mine last week i found a guy that remakes the raptor rims only in different sizes so that it fits and i have 10,000K HID headlights and I have a 3 inch pipe running from the manifold and cutting off behind the front seat and 2 15s

@luisinhoens90 I see your point, but c'mon, you can see old hondas and toyotas (10 years +) all around, running great without replacing expensive parts. The only reason you might see an American car older than 5 years on the road is due to some major repair that was done(i.e., transmissions, valve gasket problems, fuel pumps, etc.), or it has less than 60,000 miles on it. American cars may be getting better, but get back to me in 5 years. Don't forget, many hondas and toyotas are built in U.S.

@alexscsi Who cares? It is a niche truck for a very very small market. It gets a ton of attention however because it represents the ultimate edge of current truck technology available straight from the factory. No one is buying these in huge quantities and only people with expendable income are looking at it. Most people that buy pickups buy them for doing real work, the Raptor is pure pleasure just as any super car coming out of the European makers. They are both the same, purpose built joy.

@ratmtbola no its not, i live on the tip of northern Illinois and its snowed like crazy this year. my audi work better then most sedan on the road because of quattro but when it snowed 10 inch in a matter of hours one day my car wouldnt move an inch from where i was parked, its would probably work ok on the road in the video but not in tough terrains that whty this truck is for . hence the name all terrain and wouldnt you want your car to be heavy to sink into the road for better traction????

@ratmtbola The audi A6 quattro does not work with all terrain and it can only take so much snow before it just gets stuck on the road( trust me i know i own a 2008 audi A6 quattro and i had to get towed out of the street by my brother f250 :(...... so much for quattro

This truck has an ugly about it that only someone at ford could draw up. I am happy to see that they didn't put their 'generic' grill on it, but the few i have seen in person made me certain that i would rather have a big turbo diesel than this. IMO looks more like something nissan would put out, but still a pretty decent truck just not for me.

I have to say though, if I had to have an American car, it would be a Ford, since they didn't take the government bailout, and their cars are catching up FINALLY to the quality of imports. GM and Chrysler still have a LOOOOOOOONG WAY TO GO.

I dislike this video, not because I don't absolutely love the Raptor, but because the review sucks. Driving an purpose built off-road truck up and down roads that could have been navigated easily by a VW Jetta, isn't a good review. I want to see the Raptor going off-roading in the snow. Not driving around on ON roads with a little snow, occasionally kicking out the back, that's something every truck, and virtually every RWD car could do just as well.
