Turbocharged engines are another added repair expense. Naturally aspirated engines are the only way to go when it comes to reliability.

In line 6 cylinder engines are the best type of layout, smoothness, ease of maintenance, room to work, simpler design. I am not necessarily saying this one though. I would have gone with a larger displacement, about 4.0 or 4.5 litres, high compression like 12.0 : 1 even if it achieved 350 horsepower and 300 pounds feet of torque. More reliable, longer lasting and as everyone knows, once those turbos start spinning, there goes your fuel economy. Bragging be damned.

My 2016 Limited was great with the Hemi. I ended up with a 2024 Limited this year with the Hemi e-torque. Leaps and bounds ahead of my 2016. Didn’t have any trouble out of my Gen IV Ram and it held its value.

Guys, they had to take out the hemi, otherwise there'd be competition between the V8 and the hurricane. Remember, the 5.7 hemi was originally a 2500-class engine that just so happens to have amazing packaging dimensions.
