The happiest moment that I can remember with this hobby is when I tested/listened the $80/pair used speaker that I bought. Not with the thousand ones...The excitement kicks from 1 to 10 the moment you hear it!cheers!

Me too, I am much more impressed with budget speakers which punch far above their weight. Anyone can make expensive speakers which sound great.

The imaging seems to flip as well .. ? But outward placement sounds tighter. Diminishing return has gotten to a new level.

The difference in sound that the position of the reflex vent produces is difficult to understand, but not impossible. It seems to me that I have already experienced such a phenomenon in the past. Remember that often the best and surprising upgrades to an audio system don't cost a dime. It's about experimenting with the listening room, the placement of speakers and furniture, and even simple rugs on the floor.

Great review buddy. Again $65 speakers even outside ports sound great. The bass reflex on them are great. But would the last as long as the high end speakers. 🙏🏼

I am sure they will last as long as you don't play music at a ridiculous volume level.
@adamreynolds82703 жыл бұрын
I believe that depends on how hard you drive them. Keep within their limitations and they probably will last a good while. If you try to flog them with a 100wpc rms receiver or integrated, then they probably will not last long.

Very good review, but, what about the detail in sound, the transient response? Are they really good for able to listen the details of sound in music? Please give us your comment about that subject.

Transient response and detail is as good as it can be for the price except for the lowest notes. Thanks

Some Audiophile snobs are already here. Wait for more to come. I love this review. Not everyone can afford to buy expensive gears. This one really helps music lovers to purchase something descent specially if the recommendation comes from Tharbamar. And @Tharbamar, I like the Sq more with the ports outwards.

Sound really good to me !!! Dont understand bass port outwards and inwards, can hear difference, is there a switch on speakers to flip difference,, how dose a person go about creating the difference ?
@that_which_is_not3 жыл бұрын
I couldn’t either! Rewatched and at 2.12 it’s the placement of the speaker, so if you have the speaker on the right, with the port outwards and on the left with the port outwards, he is suggesting that’s the best sound. You can see the images change in the video, look for the position of the bass port 👍

Strange... the link you gave goes to Moukey M20-1 speakers with 4 Ohms resistance and 60-15Khz frequency response. I can't find 6 Ohm 20-20Khz models. Did they change the specs? Thanks.

Hi! Very informative review! Precisely because of this review, among other, I put together a budget hifi system. Moukey M20-1 + amp AIYIMA Audio D03 (very similar to Fosi if not the same factory) + sub to cover under 60-80hz Elac 10.2 for my medium small room.With all the cables, connectors, audio sponges and spikes for the flore stand, it cost me around €450. I assemble the stands by myself. What do you think, did such a HiFi system will justify its price? I'm interested in your opinion. Thanks for your answer, and maybe some advice, like do I need some budget hifi tube preamp, maybe a better DAC or is that enough.

Hi Tharbama, is the soundclip recorded WITH the subwoofer? It's great that you are reviewing budget gears, I mean this is a virgin area where people with sharp ears can pick up an extraordinary value, and give these budget makers some attention and business. Thank YOU.

@gzubeck33 жыл бұрын
I don't think they're Horrid but the front port is definitely affecting sound quality and it sounds like certain frequencies are not mixing well. Given that these would make great garage speakers where you just want to pump something out and get respectable noise while your not paying attention to hi fidelity audio. OK for Background music while doing something else.
