I'm in fairly flat ireland and am raging there is no race in 2020, I love watching it and the coverage is so well done.

This race is a dream! I’m heading to Seward in June and am hoping to run the course before getting on a cruise ship.

How did a runner completely vanish from this course?? Granted, the watchers all came down before him but still ... Does anyone have any insight into this?

I grew up there, and have hiked that mountain well over a hundred times. It is easily one of the most climbed mountains in Alaska, and probably the world. Thousands and thousands of people do it every summer. And a good portion of the mountain is above treeline. It would be very difficult to get lost up there. As long as you keep going downhill, you will reach the town eventually, and the trail down is impossible to miss.

Killian jornet was here. He finished so fast, nobody saw him

Not this year though, and he was only 25 seconds faster in 2015 than this year's winner David Norris. Not exactly an enormous margin.

25 seconds is not a enormous gain in a run ? :/ ? Ask Eluid Kipochge.

Sure, compare any road race to this mountainous up and down course with nearly endless route possibilities. Seems logical to me.

Sudhendu Pandey 25 seconds is a very close race for this terrain. If it’s a flat road race then it’s not as much.
