People acting like Amorim hates Rashford. That’s their own opinion and view of him, I certainly don’t rate Rashford but that doesn’t mean I hate him. Amorim just won tolerate stupid behaviour like any manager, if Rashford starts putting in good performances now then we’ll still have the same view of him, he’s lazy. He’s probably the most inconsistent player I’ve ever seen, Most United fans don’t want him here. I think his time is up and Amorim won’t feel obligated to let him go. It’s alright

I wouldn’t get rid of Mount. He has the right mindset and can contribute in other ways. I’d definitely look at ways to renegotiate his contract and give him a lesser wage. I’d get him into coaching too as I think he is probably nearing the end of his career. Definitely has the right attitude though

IDK why you're surprised Beth that this community still believes in Garnacho. Amorim actually likes him. Before the Manchester Derby, he keeps playing him. But he just needed to teach Garnacho a lesson which I fully back. Garnacho is talented but he needs to learn some lesson from Amorim. He responded well from Amorim's 'tough love' and Amorim even praised the way he responded. Garnacho has massive potential and is still young. He needs to improve so much more and I hope Amorim gives him more 'tough love' if needed. I believe in Garnacho, he works hard instead of throwing his toys out of the pram, giving interviews about wanting to leave.

Maybe a valid point from Amorim's perpective that "We can’t think winning silverware will fix everything". But trophies always help to satisfy us fans and the players even if we also suffer from other bad results and no improved playing style. That's why Ten Hag survived last season. I don't think United fans will be satisfied with just "another Arteta" in the long so Amorim should be careful not to treat cup competetions as just another game on the road to winning the Premier League which he did last night not starting Amad and Onana. Arteta has done the same for several years and I'm quite sure Arsenal fans will lose their patience soon if Arteta don't win a trophy soon. I'm sure United will start playing more consistant under Amorim but I would rather win a trophy every season than nothing at all excused by the playing style getting better like Arsenal's has obviously been since the season after Arteta took over.

Some players claim they are not available due to injuries but often these “injuries” ain’t even serious injuries like ACL! Most players carry injuries due to years and years of high level of play, they don’t let it affect their availability while people like Shaw and Mount just enjoy picking up their pay cheques! So many would give an arm or leg to be able to be playing professional football while these players just take it for granted!

Sorry not sorry, but I just don't have the faith in Amorim that you do. The win against City was pure happenstance...and luck is not a basis for quality management. Amorim will only be successful if he stays with it for a few years - he is average but he has a decent staff that can make a difference. Problem is, I do not think he will stay very long. If we want fairy tales...I wish Sir Alex was younger so he could help Ruben be a better manager.
