I watched Mount Saint Helens - Evidence for Catastrophe in March or April 1993. Half way through the documentary I looked up and said 'God, you are real'. In that instant I knew I was in trouble in that I knew right then He had all authority to judge me for my sin. That set the ball rolling in seeking Him and finally in October that year, believing/trusting in His work on the cross was sufficient in paying for my sin and reconciliation with The Creator. I had been an atheist from February 1978.

I once saw a pile of stumps at a dump and asked why the expense. The answer was that roots are naturally more waterlogged than the rest of the tree thus difficult to burn. It makes sense that the lower parts of trees would sink first, being wetter, thus the vertical logs.
@TheSharperSword2 жыл бұрын
And many of these floating logs would have contained some living cells within them, and that means they could sprout suckers and regrow the parent plant after the flood if a portion of said plant settled on moist topsoil exposed to air and sunlight.

I am sure that with the technology available today, they could have better graphics to help explain their position. The overall story is important and bringing this information in a way the general public could easily understand, would be a great tool in providing a coherent challenge to the Old Earth theories.

Yes I was living near Mt. St.Helens and watched this mountain every day.. I was 10 miles from the Toutle River and about 1/4 mile from Swift Reservoir... It was quite an experience living next to an active volcano in practically my back yard.. The mountain blew on May 18, 1980 as I was out in my garden ..The sound of the blast went over my head.....Felt the earthquake below my feet.. We drove up to a higher altitude watching it..Bridges were being wiped as told to us by National Guard. Telling us to evacuate... We lived in the Red Zone.. I watched as a huge plume billowing out like cauliflower...... I was a survivor of Mt St.Helens. I watched the whole thing ..

In Noah's Day the people mocked him as he built the ark and warned the people what was coming. The Lord had mercy on today's world by giving us a very tiny example of what happened around 4500 yrs. ago. Today we have God's Word, evidence around the world of a global flood, Israel back in their land etc. and the world willingly mocks what they do not understand. God gave the world 120 yrs. to repent in Noah's Day, and today so far HE has given this world 2000 yrs. to repent. Thank God more than 8 will be saved this time through HIS Son Jesus Christ. Next time it's not by water but by fire. Believe The Gospel of Christ repent and be saved. Time is short.

Another thing that Creation deniers forget is that Noah and his family were skilled shipbuilders who had saws, axes, and other metal tools. We know from Genesis 4:21-22 that metalworking, musical instrument making, and other crafts were employed by Cain's descendants, giving them about 1000 years to perfect these technologies, which means Noah had advanced metal tools, mathematical skills, etc., AND HE TOOK THEM WITH HIM IN THE ARK. So when you hear people talking about ancient technology, there you go. Noah brought his dang tools across the flood, but only he and his children would have known how to make and use them. That's how they built the ancient giant stone monuments all over the world. Immediately after the flood, humans were making boats and temples, mapping the new earth, and colonizing every continent, leaving their giant stone buildings, made with highly advanced tools that had a limited life span. Once these tools wore out, it would be centuries before industries could be built up again to make new ones. Hence, we see a disparity between the earliest civilization after the flood (which had a few items of high technology at their disposal for a short time) and subsequent generations who were stuck with stone and wood tools until modern societies and infrastructure could be reformed. That requires several generations of undisturbed progress and prosperity, which evidently did not occur again until about 1000 years post-flood.

Fact: mr Austin and his employers falsified where rock samples came from when they sent them to a lab for dating . They completely misled the lab on other details too . So when the results came back for a 30 year old lava sample at 2.5 million years Austin’s camp can claim you can’t trust radio metric dating ( to support a young earth) Ergo the lab used the wrong method giving a sent the false result when they found out they had been duped they were none to happy at all but being good scientists they recommend the correct type of radio metric to be used . To which the creationists to this day have completely ignored and tested no further as it would go against the narrative . So PhD’s for god , er no phd’s for dishonest information , certainly ! Go look it up they were caught red handed .
