Mountain Gorilla Trekking Volcanoes National Park, Rwanda.

In 2013 I was given the opportunity to travel to Rwanda and trek mountain gorillas in the Volcanoes National Park. This is a collection of videos I took while in the park. I am not a professional cameraman so I do apologize in advance for the amateur quality of the video. This experience would not have been possible without the help of The Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund International, Volcanoes Safaris, park rangers, and the wonderful people of Rwanda.

They are always eating those leaves. Maybe the visitors are not allowed to give them food or fruit like banana.

the answer is yes..you are NOT ALLOWED TO GIVE them food and you will be totally banned if not worse if you ever try to touch a gorilla. you must agree to a pledge before you are allowed to go

@Jayne Eyre Exactly, the climate is not very warm in those elevations, it gets pretty cold up there especially at over 10,000 ft. Mountain gorillas are also known to go up to the freezing cold alpine altitudes at over 12,000 ft, and it's possible some may have witnessed snowfall in the alpine regions. I would love to see the cute juvenile mountain gorillas play with snow in those altitudes, that would be so cool, or better yet, a fight between silverbacks during a blizzard.
