Mountain Lane Dwelling Fire 3/15/15 Levittown, PA.

Levittown #2 Battalion 13 went on scene with heavy smoke showing from a single family dwelling. Chief 13 arrived and assumed Mountain Command on side A and reported all residents out. Engine 13 was first in, dropped in to the hydrant at 10 Mountain and went in service with interior attack. Fairless Hills Rescue 31's crew pulled a backup line off Engine 13 and assisted with ventilation. Edgely Engine 10's crew ventilated on sides B and C and the roof. Falls Township Ladder 30 was the RIT team. All hands were in service on the fireground, the fire was placed under control in about 20 minutes.

Which ems squad did the fire call stand-by? Also, why is engine 10 called squad 10, but also dispatched as engine 10? Nice catch, I hope that family will be okay.

154 did the standby. Engine 10 is identified as Engine and not Squad because Bucks County recognizes the term squad as a bls ambulance and not a rescue pumper such as Philly or Montco.

Levittown #2's chief was in the Charger running command. These are all volunteer departments which is why there was more than one chief officer on the scene.
