Mounting 4,150W of Solar Panels in one hour!

We finally got the panels up! We got up early before the day got hot and we came up with a good process to get the 50lb panels up on the roof and mounted.
I have to say, the Ironridge Mount system made this possible. We were able to move pretty fast.
Also in this video we finish up the electrical cabinet for the solar equipment.
We are now ready to haul the batteries up to the property and wire the entire system.

Does that take a special kind of battery and how many if so?

Trina 415 panels……they’ll go well. Is your roof facing true south (I nearly typed north, Southern Hemisphere 😂)? What angle is your roof at?

Actually the building is slightly off of true south (and north LOL) so efficiency is lower at the very end of the day, but I'm amazed at how much power I can still produce at that time. The Victron system gives me TONS of great data about everything going on, so I'm watching it over time and season to see how it performs. That roof is a 4/12 pitch, so not too far off what optimal panel angle is.
