Taylor's actions in the Arsenal vs City game reinforced his objective of trying to prevent City winning that game. A penalty that Saka scored even though Ederson tried to prevent himself colliding with Martinelli. Ruben Dias got booked for being 'The 3rd man', i.e. the 3rd City player in a group asking Taylor to explain a decision. Who else in EPL history has been booked for that? Anthony Taylor is an absolutely disgraceful referee. Glad Mourinho went nuclear on him and made it dirty. That guarantees that Taylor will never EVER ref a game for Mourinho and/or AS Roma again.

Now the game needs to look back when football was played by men. Look at the Leeds vs Chelsea FA Cup final of the 70s. A modern referee reckoned he’d have sent off 19 players! It’s a physical game.
