Hey Jam! Im moving out next week and your videos helped me out a lot. I really appreciate the personal and Filipino focused tips for moving out since there are already so many tips that tackle the numbers. Would love to see a vlog type video on your day to day life in the city!

Thanks for this, Jaime! I'm still living with my parents because its comfortable and for emotional and economic reasons. But I've already been thinking about moving out on the waning days of the pandemic. This video has given me alot of insights and I hope that I can push through with it in the near future. Keep on creating great content!

Been living on my own since 2014 (I was 23 back then) mainly because I wanted to get away from the toxicity. Sobrang daming hardships since then, pero I am thankful na I did it, and if I can go back in time, I'd still take the same decision of moving out. Sobrang laki din ng influence ng mga experience ko living on my own as journey ko to financial freedom.

That's true. Ang dami natin learnings and growth. I would not be in a better financial situation if I didn't move out

After living solo in Metro Manila for around 5 years, starting age 22, I was able to experience again, living with my parents, in our house in the province due to the pandemic and WFH setup. I like this new experience for I regain solitude & stability since living in the province gets me closer to nature and apply simple living. Right now, with almost everyone returning back to office-based setup, I chose to look for a new company located in the province. The salary might be significantly lower than what I can get in NCR, but today, I value peace, bond with family, and stability more than ever.

It's because you have a good to decent family. Not everyone has them. So shut up, enjoy your food and lucky ka na may loving family ka. No need to virtue signal.

Not everyone has an unloving family like you. So shut up and keep your hatred to yourself. No need to show everyone else.

Next video suggestion (whenever that may come lol), What are some of the very important and essential things to have once you become 18, be it physical things like cards, papers, identifications etc. or very adult-y things like financing, budgeting, what headspace should you be in, how to stay motivated and etc. Im 16 right now as of July 2022 (i turn 17 in November) and next year ill be turning 18 and honestly its kinda daunting and very anxiety enducing because ive been planning to move out since i was like 13-14 (yes i know pretty crazy) because my family is just built different when it comes to toxicity but thank god i "woke up" early or have become totally aware of how bad they are for my mental and emotional health and probably for all my life if i dont leave the house immediately. Anyways, thank you for the videos i totally love them Kuya Jam i just discovered you a few days ago and the professionalism in each video is amazing and the way you word things are very clear too and make it easy to grasp!

I'd like to move out of our family home by next year sana. Di naman ako financially responsible sa family ko and di rin nman sila nagdedemand pero I feel trapped. Every move I make binabantayan at jinujudge. For sure my moving out would be a major negative too ksi for sure theyd say di nman kmi nanghihingi sayo bat ka pa aalis etc. Ang hirap hahaha but I really wanna move out. This year I'll slowly invest in home stuff little by little like pans and bedsheets.
