I can’t tell you both how happy I am to see this video. When I see capable, smart women saying, “Oh, I could NEVER drive the RV, that’s my husbands job”, I feel so sad and frustrated. There is absolutely no physical reason we can’t do it. It’s all mental. I’m so proud of you for doing it even though you were nervous. Now you’ll be even MORE confident in yourself so you can move to the next level up……driving the interstates and backing it into a campsite. I’m a 58 year old, single female and I pull my travel trailer with my F350 all over the place. It’s wonderful! Thank you so, so much for this video. So many women will now say, “Hey!! I can do that too!”

I hope so! That is why I always record anytime I get behind the wheel. I hope others will try it. I know I just need a little more confidence. It is coming!

I am just verklempt over y'all. Last week I came across your channel and have only watched about 6 of your videos so far but I already can't get enough! Everything about your videos is appealing. I've been searching for the right RV for me for the past few weeks and will hit the road solo soon! I'm so excited and your videos have truly been great gifts to me so THANK YOU! ☺ Y'all are great together, genuine, refreshing and inspiring. 🙂 Hopefully one day I see you, on the road!! 😄💙

I am late to the party but I really appreciate you pushing the movement for everyone to be able to do all the jobs involved with RVing. This is the same philosophy that applies to boating. My wife took a turn towing our little camper trailer down the highway on our last trip and she even did in 35-45 mph crosswinds!! When out traveling it is absolutely critical that every legal driver is at least trained well enough to get from a remote campsite to an area where help can find you. BTW, you did great at moving that giant coach!

So glad to see Phil came through OK. He looks a lot better than the last video. Terrific job moving the RV. I've done that AC temperature thing, too. Before Maureen & I got married, I drove stick shift cars, which Maureen did not know how to drive. She decided to have me teach her a lesson or two. It was so great that we did that because on our honeymoon, which was thousands of miles away, I had a appendicitis attack. Luckily, there was a hospital nearby and I spent a week there. Maureen had to drive herself to and from the hotel with just that limited experience.

Just bought a couple of your shirts in red so we can wear them on Fridays. We are a Gold Star family, lost my son in Iraq 5/26/07 and have seen a couple of his friends get homes for veterans that assisted them in living with the medical conditions that war created. I appreciate your spreading the word and supporting our military. You guys are great, we will be retiring in the next couple of years and hitting the road. We too are retired military, my husband did 20 years with the navy submarine force and is now supporting the navy in Bremerton Washington, if you are ever up this way say hi : )

Wow! That one got me. My heart goes out to you. Every time I see 'GOLD STAR FAMILY' I tear up. I cant help it. I just hurts my heart. Prayers to you and the family. I know our campaigns dont raise millions but I feel like it does make a difference for Veteran somewhere. I also hope it reminds those not affiliated with the military what they are giving every day! I feel like we owe them everything.

Are you having rotator cuff surgery? If so I feel for ya. While snow skiing I was stopped half way down and had stopped to wait for others in our group but then a snow boarder came flying down and took both my legs out and spammed me so hard on me right sholder. He got up and said "Sorry Dude" and continued down the slope. I kept thinking it would get better on it's own but it wouldn't, so after 3 weeks of being in agony not even being able to put my truck into gear with my right arm I ended up going to the doctor's and found out a partial tear in my bicep tendon and a complete tear in the rotator cuff. Surgery was no big deal but was a big deal was the physical therapy. The therapist will push you to the max. No matter how much it hurts do the PT as it is the only way to get back to normal rotation of the arm and shoulder. Good luck to you on your recovery. Been there done that and don't want to do it again. Love your videos keep them coming. One day would love to do what you're doing. Just gotta get my wife onboard. Any hint to make that happen?

We just agreed to buy a 2006 Phaeton out in Lake Elsinore, CA. It’s a sort of out of nowhere opportunity too good to pass up. The rig belonged to a racing team and was maintaining by its mechanics. We’re flying out to LA next week, which should be an adventure in itself. If the coach passes inspection, we’ll finally have a Tiffin. And to build on your episode, Stacey, Sarah, who has never even been in a Class A, will be driving it from LA to the Georgia coast, since I still have my arm in a sling. She’s about to break out in hives. But at least she’s 5’10”, so she’s got that going for her. We’ve already gotten a Gasstop (thanks for the code), TPMS, and EPS to take with us. Anything else you recommend for our shake down cruise, besides lots of valium for me? Thanks. Fly Navy.

BZ. Phil, I had to laugh when you mentioned the button-down shirt. I'm in the same boat. Hope you're healing well. We lived on our golf course when I was growing up, and we had a Live Oak tree in the back with a branch that dipped down almost the ground that provided perfect seating for my brothers and I to sit and make fun of the golfers as they passed by. We called it the Bleacher Oak. That was great fun. Every now and then my parents would get a call from the course (a very high brow place) with complaints about us, to which my Dad would say maybe the golfers should take lessons. Have fun watching the duffers. Stay safe. Fly Navy.

Yeppers - you kicked butt! (TV cable? We don't need no stinking TV cable 😉) If we were in the same situation I believe we would go the casita route as well. Situations like what you are in (recovering from surgery AND travel restrictions with covid) it is worth the extra $. Always good to see both of you relaxing and smiling.

Thanks Linda! We really lucked out with this spot. The cable sucks here by the way.....very bad connections.
